Motivations:
He would very much like to find his special talent, make his family proud of him and write a book someday. Although the latter is more fantasy than real motivation. When he saw Singularity found meteority, he remembered an old legend and now he wants to find one too, make it into a sword and become the greatest hero of all times!
Strengths:
He is quite loyal and kind, willing to help others, he is also decent flier. He also had pretty strong imagination. His biggest strengh though is ability to always fall, crash into something but never injure himself.
Weaknesses/Flaws:
He is shy, not too confident, too trusting and easily influenced by others, have trouble sleeping when not on clouds. He can also be lazy, when in the bad mood.
Fears:
Rusty is afraid of snakes, unwilling to even look at them. He is also terrified of depths (in water)
Personality:
Rusty Spikes is nothing if not nervous fellow. I mean he is kind and really friendly, but he is kinda shy and nervous around ponies he does not know. He very much like to find new friends, but since he moved from Cloudsdale he was too shy to actually find any. But when push comes to shove he is actually very polite. He is also very curious young pony although is there pony who is not curious in his age? When he starts something he is determined to finish it but ... well let's say, that the sun of all days has not yet set and if you do it the day after tomorrow, you have 2 free days all of the sudden. But as stated above he is too trusting and is quite easy to manipulate. He is not stupid though, he just trust ponies a lot. He mostly keep his good mood, trying to be funny but not so that he would become obnoxious. He is daydreeming quite often, sometimes he found very mysterious explanations for very non-mysterious things or situations.
History:
Rusty is quite young, so what is there to say? Well he was born in Manehatten, live on outskirts with his family. Although he always loved to help his family with everything he wasn't really all that happy in Manehatten. The big city made him feel uneasy and under pressure all the time. Of course, his parents were trying to help him relax, even signed him to flight camp. Even though it wasn't all good experience, it pretty much showed Rusty, that he is really good in flying. When his elder sister moved from Manehatten he was sad, but he could do nothing about that so he just continued with his studying for some time, untill the day, he fell ill. His parents realized, that it could be good for young Rusty to move into countryside for sometime. And it could be good for his big sister to look after him. And new location means just one thing - new adventures on the horizon.
