Science: Being born in it, it seem pretty normal.
Alchemy: Altough, when she discovered that science and magic could be conbined, she became facinated with it.
Logic: Don't we all love it when things just makes sence.
Silence: Being in a silent environement allows her to focus and relax at the same time.
Sleep: This is the only way that she can relax. Its pretty hard to get her out of bed for that.
Sweets: Who dosen't like sweets?

Overall Persona
Hydra Phylo is a passionate pony from birth.
She was and still is very respectfull of the ponies she consider smarter than her. Otherwise, she is very blunt and sometime harmfull too the other ponies she enconters by being too honest. Altough, she has alot of difficulty of admiting when she's wrong, she can still admit it when all the "valid proofs" are in front of her.
She is mostly a dreamer and tries to repreduce them with her alchemy skills, sometimes putting herself in danger, but for her, only the results counts.
Altough, when she has friends, she will be ready to do anything for them, even sometime to make them live the consequence of their actions. But she dosen't really know how to treat friend that she dosen't feel like they are as or smarter than her. Even with some of the clumsy interactions, she stays well intentioned to the ones she cares about.
When a contradiction shows up, she will do everything to turn it into her favor. If that dosen't work, she will become a bit mentally unstable, sometimes to the point of becoming numb to everything surrounding her and no longer thinks about her actions.
She has a strong sence of justice and if something seems unfair, she will try to solve it. But the only justice that she follows is pure logic.
She is a bit paranoid that her knowlege could be used to harm other ponies and bring about destruction. She knows that alchemy can be pretty dangerous and powerfull with the right fusions.
By the past, she was a pretty trustfull and optimistic pony. A bit to trustfull even, and used to share her discoveries with everypony she knew. Unfortunatly, one of her potions backfired, a growing potion, it made the plants it was put on grow incredibly fast, but it burned its surrondings. Even if the potions where retrived, some ponies where able to recreate it, since she told the combinason to pretty mush everyone. Since this day, she never know's who to trust and even if she need it to live, she is pretty reluctent to sell her formulas.
