It was a beautiful day. Celestia had certainly outdone herself positioning the sun in such a way that allowed for it’s golden glow to reflect down across equestria in rays of heat. Everything the light touched seemed to be outlined in a shimmering golden ribbon that decorated the entire atmosphere. It was nearly breathtaking, but it seemed nopony had the time to take notice. Unicorns, Pegasi, and Earth ponies alike were hustling about their daily routines, trying to get as much done as they could before the sun set and the moon took her thrown in the sky. She would send these ponies to sleep, and guard their land of dreams.
Among the crowd, one in particular stood out. His size and cloven hooves where the same as all the rest. His longer pelt and floppy ears were different, but barely noticeable. The characteristic that separated him from the crowd where the not one, but two horns that lied upon his head, and unlike that of a unicorn horn, they held no magic. As a matter of fact, this was no pony at all, but a goat whom had traveled down from his home in the mountains to explore the nearby town of Ponyville. It was his day off from work, meaning he didn’t have much in the way of things to do, so he spent his time gazing at the gorgeous display in the sky.
Pegasi flew above, aligning the clouds perfectly in the sky to complete the scene. After several moments passed, a slight boredom began to stir over the goat. What was he to do today…? He wasn’t about to let such a lovely day just pass him by. He wanted to make something of it. It was just a matter of finding something to do, or perhaps someone to talk to.
Looking around, he began to examine the ponies of the area. Ponies of all different colors and sizes passed him by, but they all seemed to have one thing in common; they were busy, too busy with their schedules to stop and chat.
