((Pandicorn))
While Yellowjacket didn’t exactly live in Ponyville, he did enjoy visiting. Oftentimes he found that the Ponyville citizens were friendly and open, something that worked will with his own personality. It was one of the reasons that he’d decided to stay close when he’d grown up, as opposed to moving somewhere much farther away than Whitetail Wood. As it was the unicorn could visit Ponyville as a day trip, and oftentimes when he did so he’d bring some of his honey with him to sell in the marketplace. And sometimes he also needed equipment or supplies for himself or his bees.
All in all, it was usually a fun day whenever he went. Today so far didn’t seem to be any sort of exception to that rule. Yellowjacket had arrived early and set up his honey booth in the marketplace alongside some other vendors. While his booth wasn’t as permanent as some of the others, he had a few ponies who would regularly see if he was there and buy some honey. It kept the apiary going, which was the reason he did it. Honestly if he didn’t need to support himself he’d have just offered his honey for free.
So far, the morning had been relatively uneventful, but that wasn’t bad. It meant that he’d been able to chat with some other ponies and had sold a reasonable amount of honey. Though he’d be lying if he said he hadn’t offered free samples to most who came to his booth, and especially the foals. Far be it from him to dislike the young ponies, and while sweet things weren’t at all usually in short supply in Ponyville, he liked seeing them smile. Speaking of which, there was another filly now. Yellowjacket smiled and waved to the young pony, “Morning, would you like to try some honey?”
