Aster had just finished setting up her stall when her attention was piqued by the sound of galloping hooves. Upon glancing up, her ears perking in interest, she was able to catch a glimpse of a rowdy pair of foals as they went running past her; they seemed to be heading somewhere, their tails trailing behind them as they galloped on. Straightening herself, she stood to her full height and smiled as they passed, waving her hoof slightly as one of the smaller foals sent a tentative glance her way. When they saw her smile and the friendly nature of her wave, the smiled back, any uncertainty on their faces gone as they gave a quick wave in return before trotting after their friends. As the small herd disappeared from site, rounding a corner and heading to who knows where, she returned to busying herself- plucking the finished bouquets from her cart and tucking them neatly into their place on her display table.
It was midday, the sun was high and shining, casting a warm glow over Aster's back and urging her to finish placing her wears so that she could open for business. After placing a particularly lush bundle on the table, she lifted her head and closed her eyes letting the warmth of the sun wash over her and bath her face in it's comforting glow. She was quite pleased with the weather that day, knowing full well that, for her, the nicer the day was the bigger the profit she would make. Opening her eyes again, she dropped her gaze back to the bouquets and nudged them tenderly with a careful hoof.
"Hrmm, did I maybe make too many?", frowning slightly, she dropped her head and began to count through the flowering packages. Her attention on the street before her distracted for the time being.
