The massive monster swung its claws ineffectually around its head, failing to stave off the dramatic attack of Rusty's hammer, stomping and roaring loudly. Cobblestone started in amazement at how dramatic his friend now looked, poised atop a monster, swinging a hammer and calling for another attack. He'd almost forgotten his role in all this, but that was gone now. It was time to battle! He'd been racing towards the beast and now that Rusty had distracted it the little black pony clenched one end of the rope in his teeth and swung it with all of his might, sending the ball of suction cups hurtling towards the beast's face.
With a sudden start the monster moved with imperceptible speed, catching the thrown object in one of its claws and yanking wickedly. Cobblestone suddenly found himself hurtling towards the monster at high speed, the other end of the rope still clenched in his teeth. Truly, he held onto the rope for dear life as he went flying past the creature into the air flailing. He could see it all from above now, Warsmith in his fluttering cape and helm bringing the hammer down, the monster trying to swing him off, and worse yet, that claw that had seized the other end of the rope was about to bring him back, hard.
"OY," came a yell from the ground, and Trapdoor saw the Glittering Stampede, emerging from the pile of cardboard boxes, pointing directly at him, "YOU KNOW THIS ONE. Armored Gallop Kick!"
Trapdoor's eyes opened wide and as the rope suddenly pulled him back in the other direction towards Warsmith and the monster, he stuck out his hooves just like he'd seen on those shows that Mandolin Gray always watched. With the added speed from the monster pulling him in he shot through the air, wooden-lid helmet vibrating at the sheer speed of it all, until he collided with the monster's back eliciting a massive roar.
The creature had shaken off the pegasus, but now all three heroes were back on their game, Warsmith, Trapdoor, Glittering Stampede, all ready to go. And the monster was swaying, off-balance.
"READY HEROES?" The Glittering Stampede roared as he pointed his spear at the monster, "EVERYPONY AT THE SAME TIME!"
With a madly enthusiastic cry Trapdoor rushed the creature, swinging the rope around his head with surprising skill. The Glittering Stampede cheered something that sounded like "Glittering Limit Break" as he rushed forward with his banana spear alongside him.
The creature swayed dizzily, unable to brace the imminent combined attacks of the three heroes!
