Pelt Color: pale-ish purple with a light sheen
Mane/Tail Color and Style: an Indigo purple-ish color, her mane itself is tied back in a half-bun with two golden hair sticks stuck criss cross in it. The rest is straight-cut at a diagonal. Her tail is cut short and straight, at a slant like her mane. It is all-over quite angular
Eye Color: a green yellow type color with winged lashes
Cutie Mark: two yellow flowered lanterns with purple outlinings
Other Scars/Markings: when in Japan, she got a small golden heart tattoo on her right forehoof. She also has a few tiny scars on her lips from sewing needles poking her.
Physique: a bit taller then usual adult ponies, but thin and strong. Calloused fore hooves from sewing needles

Weaknesses/Flaws: Calloused hooves can get in the way of her sewing, along with a poke in the mouth every once in a while. She can also, every once in a while, get so caught up in her fashion that she forgets to sleep or eat. She can also get a bit crabby if she looses sleep.
Fears: that no pony will treat her with respect or kindness, and that a fire will start in her house or studio.
Personality: she is a kind and caring would who will do anything for friends. She usually has coupons or some sort of sale going on in her studio and loves to help customers. Traveling is big to her, so she can be very creative with how she earns bits to travel, but she never cheats anypony. She is very honest and caring, though she will get caught up in her fashion. She loves the sound of a happy customer, along with the sound of a pleased friend, so she works very hard to hear those sounds often. Her endearing passion for fashion pushes her to be her very best, which helps her to keep her balance everyday.
Background:
Being a teen filly in Canterlot had its pros and its cons. She could see all the fashion and culture, but she wasn't allowed out by herself so to not get lost in the crowds. One day, her father and mother decided it was time to show Jasmine where she'd lived for the first three years of her life: Japan. Being so small, Jasmine's only memories of her birthplace were the language and the floating lights seen every summer's night. As they arrived, Jasmine headed straight for the fabric shop, buying some simple silky cloth and golden thread. Night arrived, and Jasmine and her parents were sitting on the dimming patch of grass outside their hotel. As one lantern headed sky high, many more followed, and Jasmine was standing on her hind legs just to see it better. As the lights illuminated her silky kimono, her eyes lit up the same. The golden thread shone like the noonday sun, giving way to Jasmine's eyes as well. As she looked to the shining lanterns, then to the kimono, she suddenly knew that this was her talent. Her destiny! As she realized that, her flank lit up, showing the two lit lanterns on her newly filled flank. Ever since, Jasmine has traveled the world, sewing memories and influences of culture into each of her designs.
