Name:Castor Blackstone
Nickname:Curls
Race:Pegasus
Gender:Male
Age:Young stallion
Additional Status:Originally grew up as a street Orphan in Trottingham .
-Physical Stuff-
Pelt Color: Emerald green with a violet muzzle and hooves .
Mane/Tail Color and Style: Dark violet quiff and a two-tone, purple, curling tail.
Eye Color: Zircon blue
Cutie Mark:A purple coat of arms, with a eagle crest, symbolising a protective nature, well at least that's what I think? (Often obscured by my wings)
Other Scars: several small scars and a scathe or two from living on the streets for most of my life,as well as a semi-torn ear
Physique:Notably muscular and somewhat taller than a average stallion.
-Social Stuff-
Current Residence: Just trotted into (hopefully) my new home to be Poneyville...It was a spur of the moment kind of thing.
Job: Was previously a guard pony, but has had various other occupations and apprenticeships...however temporary in Trottingham.
Parents: Your guess is as good as mine ...
Likes:Reading, feeling included, having a (permanent) job, protecting anyponys from harm, Jousting, sparing and learning new things.
Dislikes:Bullies, arrogant Pegasuses, exclusion, abuse of magic, hardened criminals, (no one's got harmed from stealing an apple or two...well I think...)
Motivation:To strive and seek to be something more than a homeless vagabond , and to one day shelter all foals from a life on the street (although I haven't really thought about how...)
Strengths:I'm both physically and mentally strong, dedicated and hardy as well as uncompromisingly loyal and protective.
Weaknesses/Flaws:I never really managed to get on with other pegasuses, I only fly when necessary ... and I can often be interpreted as unsympathetic and brash by the 'gentler' ponies.
Fears:I'm weary of most magic users to begin with, and I become nervous when tasked with a large responsibility (I guess, I fear becoming humiliated or letting the other pony down).
Personality: I'm a gentle giant at heart, but unfortunately scared by my childhood struggles ,although I do seem to imprudently embrace and trust most ponies foolhardily ,(excluding most pegasuses) due to my desire to be accepted/loved,overweighting that of my childhood wariness and (probably better) Judgement (and the fact that I'm now stronger and larger than the average pony ) .I attempt to ignore my past and don't particularly tell the truth about it to everypony... I was probably timid by nature but time and fate has caused me to become more audacious, although on occasion I do unconsciously revert to the equilibrium that of a timider pony .
Overall: I feel like I've already given all he really is at the moment...So I'll give a brief history:Curls was born in the alleyways of Trottingham (It's the only life he remembers, so thats how the story goes in his head), orphaned and abandoned at Birth he soon had to learn how to look after himself, often begging in the streets for food or bits, as he got a little older he found himself getting in more and more fights with other street ponies (often sorely losing) and found himself having to steal food from markets and shops, as begging for food became insufficient. As a colt he found himself scouring the city to find a job that he was capable at, due to fights between him, shop owners and other ruffians becoming a daily consequence of his predicament (and one he didn't enjoy) (as well as naively seeing it as an opportunity to find his special talent, hoping to gain a cutie mark, or even to be adopted by some kind, endearing pony) and after many attempts (by that, meaning generally every single Job vacancy in the area) he come to the realisation he wasn't good at anything and he would remain homeless for the rest of his life (probably one of the lowest points in his character arc to date).(I wish to leave it here as to not give away the rest of his backstory)
