-General Stuff-
Name: Lucky Day
Nickname/Alias(es): Lucky
Race: Earth Pony
Gender: Female
Age: Teenager
Additional Status: Speaks quickly, and occasionally seems to blend words together. Near impossible to understand if she's particularly excited about something, or angry.
-Physical Stuff-
Pelt Color: Burnt orange / orange-reddish brown.
Mane/Tail Color and Style: Dark red with lighter orange hilights. To keep it out of her face when she's working, she usually braids both her mane and tail - but she's taken lately to leaving the fringe so it can cover the spots on her nose.
Eye Color: Bright green
Cutie Mark: Two shamrocks of varying sizes
Other Scars/Markings: A slight smattering of spots on her nose which she tries to hide behind the front fringe of her mane.
Physique: Lucky is the biggest in her family, taking after her da'. She's more of a 'Clysdale' shaped pony, with a slightly bigger bulk than other 'delicate' ladies, and fringe around the tops of her hooves. It allows her to play and work hard alongside the 'big boys', in a way.
-Social Stuff-
Current Residence: A small house on the fringes of Ponyville – also home to an expanse of bees.
Job: Student / Apiculturalist (Beekeeper – It's a family business)
Mother: Honey Day (Dew) (Earth Pony)
Father: Sunny Day (Unicorn)
Sibling(s): Fortunate Day (Unicorn – Stallion) / Charmed Day (Unicorn - Stallion)
Other Family: There's a great-uncle who lives in Appaloosa, but Lucky's never met them.

-Personality Stuff-
Likes: Cheesy romance novels (not that she'd let anyone know), Relaxing in the sun, the hum of a swarm of bees, honey on oatmeal and whole wheat toast, market days,
Dislikes: Her brothers – most of the time, ponies carelessly tromping through her clover patch, ants (too attracted to honey), attending school (she has better things to do)
Motivation: She has a particular affinity for growing clover, seeming to instinctively know exactly what it needs to grow green and happy and make lots of clover flowers to keep the bees happy.
Strengths: Her strength – she's good at pushing and working just as much as any young male pony could, and she won't lay off or go easy on anything. She dives into a situation with all four hooves...which, most of the time can be considered a good thing. So long as everything turns out alright in the end. She's never let being a mare stop her from standing up for herself or anyone who calls her a friend.
Weaknesses/Flaws: She is having an extremely bad time with puberty. Her sudden growth spurt has left her tripping over her own hooves and a target of the tiniest of tripping hazards. Like her ma, she's never had much success with controlling her temper either, and tends to fight and shout first, ask question's later. Lastly, and strangely enough, she has an animosity towards unicorns – not an outright hatred, but a mistrust that they'll be able to look at hard work seriously since all they think they need to do is raise up that magic of theirs and put things right. It might have something to do with her brothers, who have misused their powers in the past to torment their earth pony sister.
Fears: Lucky's greatest fear is that she won't live up to her name as best she can, and somehow she'll let her da down. Ridiculous, because it's not like it's something she can help. Oh yes...and she has a irrational fear of total darkness, thanks to her idiot brothers.
Personality: Lucky's the pony you want in your corner if you ever need to deal with trouble, as this mare doesn't know the meaning of the words 'stop' or 'misunderstanding'. It may have something to do with the fact that her brothers caused her a lot of grief as a kid, but she doesn't like being a push over for bullies. And with her bulk, it's pretty hard to push her over anyways.
Unfortunately, just getting used to her growth spurt means that she's actually better at getting herself into tangles more often than nought.
She might not be the sharpest twig on the bush, but her da's always claimed his only girl's had some sort of luck on her side. There's a lot of things still left for her to learn, but she figures she knows most of the important stuff already – like how useless it is to ask questions when you can just go ahead and do something and solve problems that way.
Overall: Lucky marked a lot of landmarks in her family. She was the only earth pony to be born out of her three siblings, as well as the only girl, as well as the only one to take after her da's looks, rather than her daintier mum. She showed a knack for plants at an early age, and her father often joked that it was a magic of her own – even though that stuff was clearly meant to be taken care of by her older brothers.
Speaking of brothers, Lucky's relationship with them is not exactly the best. They were big, loud bullies when they were kids – who thought that being unicorns meant they were destined for bigger and better things than a small-town beekeeping operation. Lucky, happy from day one to stay right where she was, was picked on for having a small mind and no imagination, and bullied until finally she was old enough to turn the tables on them (she takes a lot of pride in being bigger than both her fully adult siblings now).
Far from their accusations, Lucky's always had quite the overactive imagination. Sometimes, it had benefited her; in making up stories for her friends in filly school, but other times, not so much. It certainly didn't help her when her brothers pushed her into a closet for three hours and told her the house was being attacked by an ursa. She's never quite been able to stand total darkness ever since.
