Pelt Color: Am's pelt is a solid oily black, and is naturally unbroken.
Mane/Tail Color and Style: Am's mane and tail are both a vivid lavender, and kept spiky. Her mane is kept short in the front so it doesn't fall into her eyes, and is occasionally covered by a black ball cap.
Eye Color: Am's eyes are a soft electric blue.
Cutie Mark: Am's cutie mark is that of a vinyl record, behind a dark blue double-twelfth note.
Other Scars/Markings: Am has a long-since faded scar on the right side of her forehead, which is almost un-noticeable. Sometimes, she will also spread colored paint in decorative patterns on the lower portion of her legs.
Physique: Though she is tall, Am has a dainty figure; with long and slender features. Her wings are undeniably the most fit part of her figure, but they are certainly not impressive or majestic.

-Personality Stuff-
Likes: Am loves two things in life that outshine all other things; her brother, and her music. Under these two things, she also loves to live her life, and encourages others to do the same. When presented with the option, Am will always choose to be around other ponies, and enjoys forming new friendships. Somthing that few other ponies know is that Am has a childish enjoyment of shiny things and flashing lights.
Dislikes: Am absolutely hates drama; anything that over-complicates things just confuses her. She doesn't enjoy being alone in most circumstances, she prefers to be around other people. She can't stand shallow or materialistic ponies, and try to open their eyes and show them that there's more to life. On top of all of this, Am utterly can't stand it when people are overly critical of themselves.
Motivation: Am discovered the joy of life through music at a young age. What she really wants is to be able to show other people that same joy that she experienced. She wants to light up the darkness in people's lives with her music. Her "Head first" belief means that she will often jump into situations without worrying about the possible outcome.
Strengths: Am can create music with ease, and will occasionally speak in song or rhymes. She can fly relatively well, but she is certainly not exceptionally aerobatic. As only half of the Gem Twins act, Am can also dance fairly well, though she usually leaves that to her brother. Though she wouldn't exactly call it a definitive strength, she often tries to defuse potentially explosive situations with words and genuine empathy, rather then trying to dominate the situation with brawn.
Weaknesses/Flaws: Am has very little in the way of any real physical strength, and as such she can't stand her own in physical confrontations or situations that rely on strength. She leans on her brother's every word, even if that word might not be the greatest thing ever. Am never paid much attention to her studies in Manehatten, and isn't the most book-smart pony around.
Fears: Am hates being alone, especially after dark. Though she can control her fears relatively well, she gets very closed off and quiet in the presence of violence; even so little as a heated argument. Above all else, Am is terrified of the thought of being booed off stage.
Personality: Amethyst is extremely friendly, and insists on making plenty of friends every new place she goes to. She admires her twin brother to no end, and hangs on his every word, and relies on him to protect her. She is highly loyal to her friends, and isn't one to crack under peer pressure, but tries to avoid conflicting situations where she would have to choose one friend over another. Am is always cheerful, and sees the good or the humor in just about every situation. She tries to keep her friends cheerful as much as she can. When she walks anywhere, she always hums to herself, and as a result she usually can't help but smile.
Overall: Amethyst Glow is a loyal friend, and a generally cheerful pony. What she lacks in physical structure, she makes up for in practicality, and relies on her family and friends to pick up the slack in the physical part. Her overly social personality is a result of her disabling fear of being alone and forgotten. When there's any guarantee of violence, Am tries to make herself scarce so she can avoid such a conflict. Her passion is for music, and she can't resist singing or humming a good tune when it gets in her head. The Manehatten-ite travels Equestria with her twin brother as a two-pony musical presence. They believe that the central location of Ponyville is the excelent place to hold the headquarters of their "Band". The music that she and her brother make is electronic, and as such, the ponies can usually cover up their heavy city accents when on stage.
