Likes:

-Untainted snow, It's so pure looking.
-Soft music, It's very relaxing to her.
-Cloudy days, the sun cant be seen and it makes her phobia rest easy.

Dislikes:

-Rain, her wings feathers stick to each other and make her look like a scrawny chicken.
-Doggies, They're much too noisy and yap all the time.
-Heat waves, It makes her want to stay inside because she thinks the heat will burn her delicate wings.

Motivation: Celeste loves helping the little ones, just singing them to sleep and watching over them even after they leave the hospital. They're so precious to her, she feels as if she just needs to protect them.

Strengths: Shes overly kind and willing to help out even if she has to cancel something important of hers to do it; Celeste would never leave a friend hanging.

Weaknesses/Flaws: Shes extremely naive, Celeste will believe anything that anypony tells her; no matter how far fetched it is. It got her stuck in some pretty sticky situations.

Fears: That she will fly too high and get burnt by the sun, it may be childish but shes deathly afraid of it.

Overall Persona:

She was teased as a foal for being clumsy and shy, Celeste wouldn't put wing in the sky because of her fear of being burned by the sun.
This fear developed when she was just a new born filly, Her parents were taking her home for the first time when she slipped out of her mothers hooves; Celeste got saved again but just inches from hitting the forest ground below.
Somehow this developed into a fear of all things sun related, as an infant she could remember the light gleaming in her eyes while falling.

Due to this fear her grades dropped in flying school and she dropped out to help at her parents day-care. It was here that she found her little talent for lullaby's.

Once she got older, Celeste moved on to help out at other nurseries and day cares in both Cloudsdale and Ponyville.
When she turned 15 ponies would start to hire her to sing at their parties, businesses, funerals, etc. And because of the booming business she was having, Celeste moved to Ponyville to be closer to her clients.

From this day on she still loves to sing, doesn't matter where as long as she makes somepony happy.

Well, about the mane... I asked a colleague's opinion about it. It don't really bother me, but we'll see.

I think, if you change the mane unlike Celestia's one, but more like a "Look-like an airy mane but it's real hair." It's fine.
