Additional Status:Aero is an elite flying pegasus knight. Trained in a by gone time by master fliers, while he doesn't retain that knight status, he is still in possession of his armor. Not only this but his wings are always armored. It was an old tradition for old pegasi families that wanted their young to become soldiers or fighters to have them fitted with wing armor from an early age. As such Aero's wing bones have been fitted with sharpened armor. they are fitted to his very bones and cannot be removed, his full wing armor clips onto them. Such practices have since been outlawed, but Aero is not from the present so it's something he must live with.
Aero was named the first official Hero of Equestria, nicknamed the Princess Guardian, he was looked up to for years after his disappearance. The practice of naming a pony as a Hero of Equestria is one that is no longer practiced, and to his knowledge, he is the only remaining hero, ironic considering he was the first. He is easily recognized in his Hero armour, but because of the old tradition, not many know it as Hero Armour.
The armour is made of a light weight strengthened blend of gold and other materials. Mostly used for Ceremony, the armour itself is perfectly combat capable, and is made to befit its look and back it up with the defensive power to match. the helmet is symbolic, giving the look of a skull from the front, to intimidate enemies and to make the armour stand out as one of power and to not be trifled with. Atop the helemet if the burning feather of a phoenix, an impossibly rare artifact, as these feathers often turn to ash as soon as they are taken from the phoenix.

Showing off - Aero loves perfecting his fighting and flying style, as they are one and the same. Whenever he perfects a new maneuver/attack. he'll always drag one of his friends to an open space to display it.
Flying - A basic pleasure of most pegasi is flying, Aero is no different. He often finds peace by flying happily above Equestria, not going to fast or to slow. Aero loves to just glide and let the wind guide him.
Leading - Aero was good at what he did, he was a natural born leader and thrived of it. He loved to bond with those who followed him, the trust and respect that they gave him was what drove Aero to see them through to the end. It was not the power that drew Aero to leadership, it was those who we would lead.
Storms - There is nothing more exhilarating that flying through into the heart of a storm, to feel that perfect chaos coursing all around you is something that any non pegasi will probably not have the pleasure of experiencing.
Soda - It may just be a small pleasure but Aero loves soda, its one of the things that he addicted to and its rare to see him without the stuff.
Dislikes:
Be alone - The biggest reason Aero hates being on his own is that most of his fun stems from others, be it showing off or playing with them. When Aero is on his own he feels very restless and very bored.
Being Indoors - It's generally understood that pegasi prefer being outdoors, Aero is no exception. When indoors, Aero gets a little stir crazy. Much like when he is alone, he becomes restless and bored.
Cold - Flying in the cold is no fun, it stings his eyes and is generally just a tad depressing. Not only that but the cold gets to the metal armor that is attacked to his bone and can cause him some severe pain if it goes for an extended period
Being sick - Aero absolutely hates being immobile, it limits him quite a bit. He also dislikes being a burden to those around him when he is ill, which can be quite annoying due to the fact that his friend's are quite caring.
Being Injured - For much the same reasons he dislikes being sick, Aero hates being injured and out of action. Wing injuries are especially trouble some due to his armor plating that is attached to him.

Strengths:
Flying - Being a pegasus, Aero is naturally a good flier. However after years of training and practice, Aero has honed his skills to be one of the most elite fliers there was from his time. He is not the fastest however, his true skill is in his maneuverability. He can move his body in the air in ways most pegasi could never dream of achieving. He uses this skill in his fighting and general flight, he can change direction in flight in less than the blink of an eye.
Awareness - Aero is always aware of what is going on around him in the immediate area, it's a skill he's learned during many combats. He is always aware of his position and location of key things going on around him, it allows him to react a lot faster than he normally would if he was not aware.
Energy - It is earth ponies who are usually regarded for their endurance and energy, Pegasi to a lesser extent do have a lot of energy however. During a 6 month training reigme with earth pony commandos, Aero was forbidden from using his wings and instead had to live life on the ground and adapted his body to do so. He had far more energy than the average pegasi and as such can stay active for a lot longer.
Planning and Leading - Aero is a natural leader, he can evaluate a situation and make a decision. although the decision he makes may not always be the safest solution.
Weaknesses/Flaws:
Cocky - Aero is good, and he's the first to know it. He is very sure of himself and is always the first to make people aware of it. This attitude is good for his style of pony but it doesn't stop it from getting on other ponies nerves.
Rash - Aero may be a good leader but that doesn't mean he isn't prone to making dumb decisions. His choices often disregard his own safety and sometimes the safety of those he is with.
Short attention span - When not on a duty, Aero is very restless and doesn't focus for long. He can become a liability to those around him as he is just a lot to deal with, similar to a foal on a sugar rush. He will jump from place to place and thing to thing like and excitable bunny rabbit.
Childish - When he has no responsibility or duties to attend to, Aero can be a bit of a foal. He can over react to things or just be a bit silly, this coupled with his large energy levels can add to how annoying he truly can be in this state also.
Fears:Aero's most present fear is that he will lose what he feels what is his true calling in not being able to rejoin the military in the present, It's all he knows how to do and he cannot think of doing much else. A fear that has always stuck with him however has been a fear to lose his ability of flight. The armour plating that he is fitted with caused many pegasi in his time lots of pain, and most had their wings amputated in later life. Luckily his armor is of a very high quality, however its a fear that he keeps with him.

How to desribe Aero's personality...It would have to be described by those who have met him. And those meetings are fleeting at best, which would probably be the best one word description. Aero is a quick talking, quick witted, quickly annoying pegasus. He lives for adventure and fun, although he lives an unconventional life to have those things. He is a thrill seeker, through and through. He lives for the military as its practically all he has ever known, and has found his calling it in. At most times Aero is an immature, irresponsible individual, however when given a task that requires his attention, he is a completely different pony. When on a mission, Aero is a focused and serious individual, although some of his other personality can shine through. Over all he is a fun loving great pony to be around...if you can stomach him.

Aero is from thousands of years in the past, back when Alicorn's ruled over pony kind in their thousands upon millions. He was the leader of the pegasus elite Flying battalion. The youngest ever pegasus to lead such a military unit even to this day. He fought with his friend Lux when a tyrannical Alicorn known as Utopia tried to take over, however when Lux decided to leave for the future, Aero was somehow dragged into the time portal and found himself stuck in the present. Aero is trying to get his way back into the military, however with such a lack of need for them and no previous recorded history of his experience he is finding it somewhat difficult, however he is not going to stop trying.
