-General Stuff-
Name: Firelock
Nickname/Alias(es): Fire, Locky, Spark
Race: Unicorn
Gender: Female
Age: Filly, actually a teenager
Additional Status: Often seen around the alleyways of Manehattan, usually wearing a small sling of lockpicks and a pack of matches, maybe some assorted herbs, and a tiny traveling cauldron. Wears a green hoodie that is actually adult size so the sleeves go past her hooves. Oh well, it's warm. And cute.
-Physical Stuff-
Pelt Color: A light, creamy orange, like one you would find on an orange pop, most of the time spotted with dirt.
Mane/Tail Color and Style: A soft red, not exactly ruby, and surely not pink or peach. If you look carefully, her hare has various strands of gold in it.(Ignore picture, colored the mane wrong when having to do with the gold coloring) It's straight and short, with layered bangs. Where her hair ends by the side of her face, it slowly curves up in the back, creating a rather adorable look.
Eye Color: Leaf green
Cutie Mark: A blank flank, and she really doesn't mind.
Other Scars/Markings: Small nicks are taken from her ears and a few scruffs and bruises ride here and there.
Physique: Rather scrawny and thin, but also flexible. She's very quick and speedy, but has terrible endurance and a newborn foal could maybe win against her at a fist-fight
-Social Stuff-
Current Residence: It used ti be abandoned houses/ruins, alleys, and cheap inns, but now Dream Gaze has taken her in as apprentice.
Job: Herb-seller and potion-merchant by day, thief by night when she needs the money, though she's trying to stop for her new master.
Mother: Remembers her slightly more, of a fresh-smelling bakery and cakes.
Father: Doesn't know, just has a memory of flowers and stars.
Sibling(s): Nope
Other Family: Uh... She believes she might have a godfather somewhere, not quite sure...
Closest Friends: Azure the Wyvern, most likely, though she has taken a liking to stray cats.
Courting/Courted By: Negative
Mate: No way
Foal(s): NO!
-Personality Stuff-
Likes: Cats and other creatures that live around with her. Enjoys brewing potions and healing supplies and the like, but rarely has enough money to ever afford such supplies. She has found over the years that she has developed a strong fascination for the drake family, such as dragons and other flying serpents. Enjoys cool nights where she doesn't really have to worry about anything. Friends, like Dream and Azure. Family, if she had any.
Dislikes: The winter, where she's always cold, rich ponies and nobles, rude ponies, and no money. Pretty much will eat anything. Despises scary stories, but even worse, a terrifying fear of water. She absolutely loves the idea of swimming, but her heart jumps to her throat when actually coming to doing it. She doesn't exactly know why, but she thinks it might be because she doesn't know how to swim...
Motivation: Knowing that if she does well, she might be able to earn her cutie-mark, or even better yet, have a future of being an alchemist.
Strengths: She's very agile and flexible, and can steal your pocket-watch, wallet of bits, and hat if you look away one second. Okay, she could do that, but she doesn't. She only takes inexpensive things that one wouldn't miss. She isn't a bad filly, just one with a harsh life-style. Her true talent lies in alchemy and potions. She hopes to be a master one day. She is friendly, though, and loves making others smile.
Weaknesses/Flaws: Not good at making friends and can seem 'uncouth' to many, doesn't know guidelines to really anything. Rather weak, and can't read, write, or anything that you are really taught in a school and can't teach yourself. She also shows mercy and is one to think that everypony has good inside them, which can both be a strength and weakness.
Fears: Not having enough bits to feed herself, hunger, the cold, or spending her entire life without another pony. Water, water, water.
Overall Persona: Firelock is a young pony who is rather a loner in other's standards, but loves the idea of friends. Growing up in a rather poor environment with never exactly knowing her parents, she had to turn mature very quickly, skipping most of her childhood innocence. Though, she is still a filly, and sometimes the entire world boggles her. A quick-silver pickpocket and a master(okay, not YET) at alchemy, Firelock has a future. The problem is, it could swing either way. Remain in poverty for the rest of her life, hiding among the shadows and sleeping in dumpsters, or, if fate deems her worthy, get a little boost of money to create her own business and be a a merchant in potions and herbs.
This filly isn't bad or evil, and though she is a pick-pocket, and sometimes for a few imported herbs or alchemy-supplies, she steals, but she would have never stooped to something nearly as such if she actually had enough money. She does feel guilty, but she just has to get on with it to survive. Hopefully, she can get more into the potion-selling business and not have to depend on being a thief to get what she needs.
Rather loves hugs, but can never seem to get any, and, though living more on the edge, she can be adorably innocent and oblivious. She cannot read, never learning, and cannot write. Her strengths lie in just surviving on her own. She hopes to have a family some day, or at least, some friends, and tries to act as mature as possible though she is truly a little silly filly. Her first memory was of the orphanage, where she thought she would grow up, but alas, she grew bored... and anxious. It wan't one of those mean orphanages where they feed you glop and make you scrub the floors, but she thought that she would just regret staying any longer. So she left. She has never regretted that choice. Though it was hard, she could almost say she liked living like she is, other then the hunger, cold, and constant worry of money. Then she was taken in by Dream Gaze as an apprentice, and she still doubts that her being trained to be an Alchemist by one of the best is real. It feel unbelievable, a dream, and she hopes that they don't ever find out about her rough back-life of being a common street-thief... She's a young filly with a tough life.
Not much more to say.
