Overall Persona: Gear Spark is a optimistic, convincing, and self-conscious mare. She usually doesn't leave her lab unless it's to get food or more supplies for an invention. She cares more for her cat Gizmo than she does for her own self and often goes without food for a few days. She can be a bit rude while talking to somepony, like doing everything she can to end the conversation and go back to her lab. She often feels really guilty after doing that once she gets back to the lab and thinks it's too late to go back and apologize. She sometimes wishes that she could make some friends, but quickly pushes those thoughts away. She barely takes care of herself, which explains why her mane and tail are messy and unkept. She isn't easily angered, but everypony has their limits, even her.
Gear is protective of her cat Gizmo, but often looses him and has to chase after him. She says she's organized and clean, but her lab, and she herself, is a mess. Despite her self-consciousness, she has filed a few patents for some of her inventions and a couple of them are in use by ponies often. She almost never takes credit for her inventions though, she's far too nervous and doesn't want to be famous in any way. Gear is pretty isolated but she likes it that way and almost never wishes for it to be different. She hates even the thought of getting into any kind of relationship with somepony, she thinks it would take too much time away from her work.
