She wrote the first story she was ever really proud of with that pen and the first idea for her first published book was written with the same pen.

Dislikes:
She hates bitter food. Even the sight of them makes her feel disgusted.
Ignorance drives her mad. She's spent hours researching for as little as a line for her newest book that she's still working on. She can't even read books that clearly have no effort put into their research.
She hates snobbiness with a passion. She can't even fathom the idea of someone acting like such as spoiled brat.

Motivation: Her fans often send her letters, telling her about how her book moved them to tears. She keeps every single one of these letters and couldn't even imagine getting rid of them.
Strengths:
She has a wild imagination, often coming up with ideas and solutions that no other pony could come up with.
Because of her eccentric personality, she's very accepting of odd ideas that seem crazy to anypony else.
When using her magic, her handwriting is the best most ponies ever see.

Weaknesses/Flaws:
She often gets caught up in her own bubble, unable to even hear what somepony else is saying to her. When she's in her own bubble she doesn't pay attention to where she's going and either walks into something or somepony.
Besides levitation, she can't perform any other form of magic.

Fears:
Disappointment. She's always been scared that her parents are disappointed that all her magic can do is make her handwriting nice or that they had to have a daughter who's so crazy like she is.

History/Background:
Growing up, Silver Tip was quite lonely, only really spending her free time with her family and nopony else. She preferred to stay in her imagination than playing with other fillies and colts. She often slipped into her own world, not paying attention to the outside world.
When Silver Tip was eight, she started working on a story, "The Bell Of Hope". She spent a full month, which for a filly is very long, working on it. After she finished it, she read it to her entire class and got her cutie mark after her classmates applauded her work. She based her newest book, which she is still working on, on this story.
At the age of twenty-three, Silver came up with the idea for "May Mare, September Stallion." At the age of twenty-six, Silver published the book and it became a huge success in Canterlot.
