The marketplace was a busy place, one of the most busiest in all of Ponyville. Ponies of all sorts scrambled around the pathways, looking for something of interest to buy. There were several stalls, and even a few shops open along the streets. A few years back, Clover had run a stall of his own. One day he realized it had become popular enough and he had saved enough bits to upgrade to a shop in the marketplace. From then on, he had been pretty successful. It was one of the larger shops in the marketplace, and was filled with many knickknacks that decorated the walls and shelves. It was also one of the first shops a pony would come across when heading from the center of town. It was filed with things he had collected along his adventures that were of value. You never knew when you could come across something rare in his shop.
This particular day, he had something very interesting that seemed to attract many ponies. They were beautiful white flowers known as Lunar flowers that would glow beneath the moonlight. Only this time of year were they in bloom, and they only grew deep within the Everfree forest. Clover had carefully planted them right outside his shop to attract customers. Though he made sure to keep a close eye on anything he put on display outside, to make sure nobody would steal anything.
“Have a nice day!” The goat waved as an emerald colored mare left with a bag of merchandise they had found in his shop. He then waited for someone else to enter and have a look around. Soon, a mailpony came into his shop with a box. “For Clover” the mailpony said while walking over to the counter with the box. “That’s me.” Clover replied a bit confused. He wasn’t expecting any kind of mail. However he took the box without much question, and the mailpony left without saying anything else. He shrugged and examined the small cardboard box.
