Taking another bite of her apple, Eternity changed the song again. Another song she liked, and of course is was a love song. Like always, she was attached to them, just because of her obsession with love in general. Since she has been in love one thousand times, most of the songs hit home for her. She always got them, especially when the lyrics were heart breaking. Like the one she was now listening to. It was called 'Can't Let You Go' by Adam Lambert. She loved this song. Just the beat of it always wanted to make her dance.

Knight started to say how she the traveling was going to be fun. Eternity turned to her, bopping her head a little to the drums from the song. "Hmm.. how do you know you're going to have fun if it hasn't happened yet? Can you tell the future?" she asked with some laughter and curiousness. "If you can, that'll be sooooo frickin' awesome!"

Eternity smiled at Knight again. "Nah, they're just songs I like. Nothing more, nothing less. And if the song sucks, then why listen? That's why I have 'good' songs, because they're good and don't suck."

E took another bite of her apple, finishing it in just three bites. She then licked the juice off her lips and teeth then popped a piece of mint gum into her mouth. "Awe gross!" she suddenly yelled, tasting the mint and apple together. "Tastes like when you brush your teeth, then you drink a cold glass of water, and you throw it up!" she explained pretty loudly, not noticing the other ponies staring at her. She then quickly grabbed a bundle of napkins and wiped it on face, then stuck out her tongue and wiped it off a well. Finally after scrubbing forever, she put the napkins on her plate, gagged, then started humming to the song again, instantly relaxing her.

Ponies were still staring at her, so she glared at them and yelled, "What are you guys looking at?!" The strangers looked away automatically, making E look away from them as well. She then chewed on her gum, and hummed to her music.

"It's not like I have a sense or anything." Knight said with a giggle. "I just know that all things wind up being fun, even if we can't see it at the time. Eventually I can look back on this and see that I did have fun." She shrugged as she said that and looked back at her meal. "Or I might actually be psychic and can see the future or read minds." She said glancing at Eternity and smirking.

Knight listened as the next song started to play. She wasn't sure how she felt about it. It did sound like a sad song. Knight couldn't help but wonder if Eternity only listened to this kind of songs. "Good is objective." Knight said with a smile. "Who knows, you might not like the songs that I like. Doesn't mean that they are not good." She glanced at Eternity. "There are a lot of different kinds of music. So chances are there is at lease one song I like that you don't like."

Knight finished her sandwich, all she had was her hay fries. She noticed Eternity start chewing on the gum and laughed at the face that she made. Knight couldn't help it, the look and the reaction that Eternity was too good. "Well maybe you should have waited." She was still grinning. "I have never had that happen to me." She giggled again but was cut off by Eternity yelling.

Knight raised an eyebrow as she looked at Eternity. "I have a feeling that was a bit much." She took the earbud out and took a drink of her water. "I mean what did you expect to happen, with how you were reacting to the gum." Knight finished the last of her hay fries. "Are you finished?"

Eternity blinked. "Don't tease me like that! And if you could read minds, I'd be a goner," the fully clothed pony said, smirking her dorky smirk. "Then again, I'd also get punched in the face a lot. But, if I could read minds, I'd try and figure out how you feel about me," she whispered, her smirk slightly faded. Not this situation again.

"Erm, anywho," she fumbled with her words. "Music, yeah, what do you listen to anyway? Hardcore heavy metal?" Eternity laughed at her questions. She tried to think of another thing to laugh at. "Or maybe you listen to Skrillex," she laughed again. "Or-or you secretly go to dance parties and rock out to whatever is on," she started to grin. "Dj's are also pretty siiick," she laughed. "But in all seriousness.. there could be a chance I don't like your music. I do keep to myself most of the time, so I don't know what you listen to, so the chances are larger then normal."

Now after popping the piece of gum into her mouth, Knight started cracking up laughing. "I don't like waiting. I needed to calm myself down so I put gum in my mouth," she mumbled. "It was still revolting!" Eternity looked at Knight as she continued to laugh. "You should try it sometime then though, it's gross."

After yelling at the ponies, Eternity was a little annoyed now and ready to leave before she got herself kicked out. She wanted to yell at the ponies more, but she knew the results would not be grand. "I don't like ponies staring at me like I'm insane. If they tried it themselves, they would throw up," she hissed under her breath. "And I am done. Let's get out of this place," she added, hopping off her chair. She then put a quite large tip on the table and went straight for the door. She waited for Knight, then opened the door. Her geeky smirk formed across her face as she simply said, "Ladies first."

"My music?" Knight asked. She didn't really think that would be asked. "I'm not too sure." She said with a small smile. "I like anything. Usually anything with good lyrics that I can understand and creates an interesting story." She got up since they had finished their food. "I am not all that hard to please." She gave a small shrug. "At least with music." She added as they headed for the door. She saw Eternity open the door and do the "ladies first" thing again. Knight just smirked a little and leaned against the door frame. "really now?" She asked giggling. "And what if I don't go through? Will you just stand there holding the door open?" She gave a soft smile before she walked through the door.

Knight looked up into the sky. It was starting to look like a very nice day out. Hopefully the day would stay this good for the game. Knight started to head towards the train station. "So, straight to Canterlot? Or do you want to see something before we head off?" She glanced back at Eternity curiously. "I mean I know we agreed to head out right away." She shrugged. "Apparently I am the lady and you are the dudette. So that means you choose where we go." She poked Eternity's chest. "It also means you carry everything, pay for everything and say nothing but compliments. For I am a lady." She did a mock pose of a lady but didn't hold it for long before she started to laugh at herself. She figured she made a scene to the ponies around them. "Well that was interesting. I don't do that a lot."

"Alright, if you don't through the door.. then I might.." she paused, trying to think of something to say that'll make her move through the door first. She bit her bottom lip, finally thinking of something to say. "If you stand oh so awkwardly at this propped door, ready for you to walk through it, then I might, just might, kiss you," she said with her dorkish smirk. Knight walked out of the door first anyway, so E lightly closed it then looked outside to admire the weather.

The sun was just now peeking through the clouds that the pegasi put out prior, and there was a slight gust of wind going opposite of where the two mares were facing. More and more ponies set outside, and some fillies were running there way to the park. It was the weekend after all, no school for them.

Nothing though seemed to grab Eternity's attention, so she simply shook her head at Knight. "Nothin' is grabbing my mind, so we can go straight to Cantorlot." The grey mare then felt Knight poke her chest, making her freeze up. The other mare then started talking about all the things the 'dudette' had to do to keep in role. Of course Eternity was up for it. "I can totally carry everything, pay for everything, and say nothing but compliments," she repeated with a smile. "Now, m'lady, let's get to the train station. I already got everything I need," she added. Eternity then started to talk off, choosing a new song then trying to search for the train station.

She then stopped, trying to think if she did have everything she needed. 'Got my hoofball tickets, jacket, leg warmers, pants..' she trailed off. 'Wait, train tickets!' E turned around to face Knight. "I have to pay for train tickets, just remembered," she said then turned back around and walked towards the train station again. Once she got close enough, she stopped again then looked at Knight. "Alright, it's 'compliment' time," she smirked, looking at Knight. "You have really pretty eyes." Eternity then smiled, and walked up to the booth to buy some tickets.

Knight didn't really expect Eternity to be alright with what she suggested. She sighed and shook her head. She closed her eyes as they were walking. Knight didn't really want Eternity to feel like she had to do all those things. She heard Eternity give a compliment. "Well clearly you don't know what you are talking about." She said in a fake hoity toity voice. "I have had my eyes closed this entire time." She was actually squinting to make it seem like her eyes were closed. Soon her acting cracked again and she smiled. "But in all honesty." She said opening her eyes and blinking a couple times. "I was joking about all of that." She giggled a little. "I mean if you change the titles it can sound very date-ish." She shook her head. "Plus I wouldn't want you to feel like you had to do all those things. I mean you are a dudette but I am still not convinced I am a lady. So at least let my get the train tickets." The trip from Ponyville to Canterlot wasn't that long, so it wouldn't be that expensive. At least not as expensive as hoofball tickets.

Knight had been leading them to the train station as they talked. They were getting closer to it. Knight hoped that Eternity would put up a big fuss over this. She didn't want to stand around the ticket booth trying to figure out who got to pay for the tickets. Knight glanced at Eternity and smiled a little. "Just so you know, a kiss isn't a good threat. Kisses are more of a reward." She said before walking faster.

Eternity rolled her eyes. "Kisses are way more then a reward," she started, her mind going deep into her thoughts. She started to stare at the ticket booth, forgetting what she was about to do. She was trying to think of what she was going to say though. She could say a lot of things about kisses. She knew what she was talking about, or at least she thought.

"Happiness is like a kiss. You must share it to enjoy it. Kisses are a lovely trick designed by nature to stop speech when words become superfluous. It's.. something you should cherish forever. It's something that proves how somepony feels or how strong their souls are. A kiss can be a comma, a question mark, or a exclamation point. You know that thing when you kiss somepony and everything around you becomes hazy, and the only thing in focus is you and the other pony. You realize that this is the only pony that you should be kissing for the rest of your life and for that one moment.. you get this amazing gift all cuz you feel so lucky that you've found it, but so scared that it'll go away at the same time. A kiss is so powerful. It has so many different meanings to it. If you kiss somepony at the wrong time, you're screwed. But if you kiss them at the right time, you're butterflies in your stomach will fly away, and your life will feel at it's fullest. You think everything will be perfect, and it might as well be." Eternity finally stopped talking, biting her bottom lip again. She didn't know what all she just said, but it felt good to get out.

The mare blinked, getting her own thoughts away from herself. She looked at Knight, blinking more. "Okay, so.. train tickets. Yeah, that," she said louder, getting to the ticket booth. "And I know you were kidding. I just like feeling like I'm in control," she said, now whispering. "And I can buy the tickets. It's no biggy." She handed some bit's over to the pony in the booth, grabbed the Cantorlot tickets and walked back over to Knight. "Alrighty, got the tickets."

Knight couldn't help but agree with Eternity's view on kisses. She smiled and glanced at Eternity. What came next was a long speech from Eternity about kisses. The truth of the matter was that Knight had never really kissed anypony before, apparently not like one should do it, at least. She listened to Eternity go on about kisses. When Eternity got to the "you know that" part, Knight got a little fidgety. She had never kissed anypony so she never felt that way. She felt a little odd, since she hadn't kissed before. "O-Oh yeah. That feeling." She said glancing away from Eternity. She rubbed her leg, hoping that Eternity didn't really notice the out of place behavior.

Knight was a little distracted when Eternity decided to get the tickets. It was too late when she realized what happened. Knight sighed as Eternity came back with the tickets. "I see." She took her ticket and looked at it. "You know, I could say the same thing to you." She turned towards the train and started to walk. "I am able to buy tickets. Besides, what if I wanted to do something nice for you. I mean, it can make a pony feel...off, when they are just have stuff done for them." Knight stopped walking for a moment. "I can open a door or buy tickets, mean we are friends. Would you really like it if I insisted I bought every thing from now on?" She started to walk again but stopped suddenly. "We are friends, right?" She asked glancing back at Eternity.

Eternity's smirk became a confused glance when she noticed how odd Knight was acting. She thought for a second, trying to see what was exactly wrong with Knight. Was it the way she spoke about kisses? Was it the why she felt when they got into this 'awkward' situation? Was it because Knight maybe hasn't kissed anyone before, and was lying about totally getting what Eternity was talking about, because obviously Eternity has had these feelings before, and did in fact know what she was talking about? That seemed to be the more long, detail version, so the grey mare took that. "You've kissed anypony before, have you?" she asked, knowing Knight didn't want her to know what was going on. The hoofball player was smarter then she looked though.

She looked at Knight, sighing. She then put the train tickets in her pocket with her other ones. "Yeah, well I like making ponies feel special, so I do things for them. I've never had it happen to me in return, but I wouldn't think it would work as well," she said. "Because I am not a lady," she smirked. "But, if you feel sooo off about it, you may buy things from now on, though, no dent has been made from how many bits I have. The sports industry is quite rich."

Knight then asked the most weirdest question ever, in E's mind at least. Were they friends..? That word wasn't in her dictionary of words often, and even if it was she wouldn't use it much. She had a lot of opinions on the single word that could and mostly likely would mean a lot of things. "Erm.." Eternity, as much as she wanted to say 'No, I see us more then that word', just said, "Yeah, friends." She sighed once again, getting in line with a group of others to get onto the train to Cantorlot.

((OK, that's what I thought, good my idea could work then))

A purple unicorn, with a long dirty blond colored mane and tail that were a bit spiky at the end and hazel eyes, was bouncing up and down as he waited in line at the train station. The line was long, but he didn't care. He was too super excited to care. A few weeks ago, there was a singing competition in Ponyville and the winner would get to sing the Equestrian Anthem for the Hoofball game in Canterlot! Surprisingly, he was the winner! He would be in front of a huge crowd of ponies and the entire Hoofball team... Singing... In Canterlot! He was so excited he felt like he was going to burst. The exposure this would give him... the fame he could possibly earn. His dreams might finally be coming true! He had worked long and hard for a moment like this, and now he'll finally get the chance! He could hardly believe it was happening!

The unicorn got to the booth. "One ticket to..." He giggled like a little fully. "One ticket to Canterlot please!" He was so excited he bounced toward the train, he was looking at the tickets with pride. He wasn't paying attention to where he was going. Suddenly he accidentally bumped into two mares and fell on his plot.

"Oh my Celestia, I'm so sorry, are you two alright?" He said standing up quickly and offering his hooves to the mares.

Knight sighed softly. She didn't really care who knew she hadn't kissed anypony romantically, but it wasn't like she went around telling everyone. She glanced at Eternity. "Well, no. Not really. Not romantically." She admitted looking away. She wasn't to sure how Eternity would react. Knight wondered how long it would take them to get on the train. She then heard Eternity go on about how she liked making other ponies feel special. Knight shook her head. "What if somepony wants to make you feel special?" Knight asked looking at Eternity. "Besides, According to you, the definition of Lady is just somepony beautiful and beauty is in the eye of the beholder." She said smiling a little. "So, that does make you a lady." She said glancing at Eternity.

Knight was happy that Eternity thought of them as friends. It would be pretty easy for the two of them to lose contact with each other, since they don't live in the same city. Knight was going to say something but that is when the two of them were interrupted, by a stallion. One moment the two mares were talking, the next somepony walked right into them. Knight wasn't paying attention. The conversation had made her lower her guard, so it was easy for this stallion to knock her over. She didn't fall to hard but she did wind up on her flank. She looked up and noticed the stallion. He was a purple unicorn with a dirty blond mane. "No harm done." Knight said with a smile. "Just be careful in the future. I am a guard in training." She added.
