The cloudy city named Cloudsdale, rolled it's way over to a tall mountain near Ponyville. It was pumping out clouds like it always did, ready for the pegasi to move them into a specific pattern for certain weather for that one day.. or week. Who knows? The weather was super chilly, a few rain drops here and there. The weather was always at random. One day it will be raining, the next sunshine. Guess it just depends on the lead/captain of the pegasi.

Eternity, a grey mare, hummed to her slow music. She of course had a piece of gum in her mouth like always. Who likes bad breath? The mare was wearing her red jacket that matched her eyes, along if her black pants to cover her girly cutie mark which she personally hated, along with her full name. She was always confused on why the mark on her butt was love related. Since her main job in life was being a hoofball player, she was confused on why a heart formed there. Yeah, she was good with loving relationships for the strangers around her, but not as good as her hoofball career. Speaking of hoofball, she was wearing her hoofball leg warmers on her front hooves.

The green headed Earth Pony made her way up the large mountain, which was peaking through the middle of the cloudy city. She looked up to see how large the cloud was, then looked back down at the shadow covered green grass. She sighed, carrying a hoofball around with her to start practicing for her hoofball game in just a day. She was in Ponyville for her game, which took place in a little grassy garden. It wasn't a big game, it was the Ponyville Ponies VS Cantorlot Colts, Ponyville the home team and Cantorlot the away team. Eternity played on the Cantorlot team, because she is from there.

Anyway, the fully clothed mare kept her red hood on, just in case the city would rain. She didn't think it would, but it could also be protection from getting rude looks from other ponies, like she always got. So right at the moment Eternity had her hood on, music beating in her ears, and her hoofball tucked in her jacket.

The mare's red eyes found a nice, dry spot to sit on, which was directly under a whole new cloud. It was a normal, white, fluffy looking cloud. She sat down, not noticing another pony in it. From her angle, she couldn't see anything but a fluffy cloud. Eternity then laid on her back, taking the ball out of her red jacket then tossing it into the air. It came right back like the mare was a magnet. She continued to toss it, then catch it, humming to a new song with a nice, love-ish tune to it. Another love song of course.

Eternity started to lose concentration of the ball. Her music caught her off guard, so she started throwing the ball higher and higher, until it hit something in the cloud, knocking the cloud dead and making something or somepony off of it, landing on Eternity from below.

Was there such a thing as karma? If there was, the fact that Sienna’s not so innocent nap had been rudely interrupted by some stray cannonball (or so it felt) might’ve been proof of it. This was probably good reason to stop taking so many unsanctioned breaks from work. At the very least, thankfully for her fragile psyche, this sudden fall wasn’t from too high up, and did not end with her tangled in painful vines and branches. Indeed, her sudden fall had been broken by a decidedly soft, if sort of bony, material, which her still sleepy brain only belatedly identified as a pony. Part of her noted that perhaps this was also karma, seeing how her nap had been interrupted by something, and this pony was probably the source. This was only a small part of her though.

The bigger part of her was busy panicking. “Ahh!” Sienna screamed in shock, quickly spreading her wings and flapping them so that she was off the pony’s back, and more importantly, off that scary ground. Once she was sufficient distance from the earth, her heart managed to calm down to something resembling a normal pace. Looking around her, she realized that her napping cloud must’ve been blown off course at some point, because she was quite a bit farther from Cloudsdale than she’d initially been. Well, less chance of getting caught by a co-worker for slacking off, she supposed, though it did also mean she’d have more of a flight to get back home. That wasn’t too bad, seeing as she did love flying anyway.

Shaking her head a little, she focused back on where she was now, putting off where she’d be later for later. Glancing up, she saw that her lovely little napping cloud had a pretty large hole in it. Ouch. That would need some fixing up. Oh well, there were a few other stray clouds around anyhow. Turning her gaze downwards, she saw the pony she’d fallen on. “Oh, sorry ‘bout falling on you!” Then, shrugging a little, she went on, “I was hit by some kind of cannonball, which… was you, I guess?” Why some random pony would be throwing cannonballs up at a cloud, Sienna wasn’t thinking too hard about, clearly.

At first, the grey mare didn't feel a thing. Until a feathery, light substance came crashing down onto her face. The mare kept her eyes closed, waiting for the pony to pry off of her. The feeling of wings flapped onto her head, then finally settling above her. She opened her eyes, her emotions erupting inside her like a ferocious earthquake. The earth pony wanted to burst into a million pieces like a balloon getting popped by a pin, or a nutcracker cracking a nut into two pieces just to get inside to the actual food item. Eternity's bright eyes seemed to become brighter. Her hood stayed propped on her head, but she soon slipped it off her head in a erupt swipe. Her muzzle scrunched up the band aid on her nose, pinching the fur on it. Her ears flopped down, her mane becoming more messy. The grey hooves of the pony shook rapidly, awaiting for something to explode. Suddenly her hoofball finally dropped down, onto her head, making her even more angry. Why did everypony always fall on her?

The mare looked straight up into the sky, knowing a Pegasus fell onto her. Not any unicorn or earth pony could lay on a cloud, so of course it was going to be a Pegasus. The bright, red eyes spotted a light blue Pegasus, floating onto the air above her. Eternity's bright white teeth bit the bottom lip of her mouth, trying to keep in her insane emotions. The mare switched the song she was listening to just to try and keep her calm. Her chomped on her gum a little more violently, waiting for something else to piss her off. Suddenly a basketball flew and stung her in the head. She threw her head around to see a jock behind her. He muttered a sorry, then went to grab his ball. That's when the grey pony lost it.

The mare flung herself onto her clothed hooves, then stared straight up into the air at the Pegasus again. She gave a hard, terrifying glare that she's never really made before. She opened up her mouth to yell out at the pony, but of course thinking first. She thought for a second or two, then her tongue started rolling. "What the pony feathers is wrong with you? Watch where you're falling! You almost killed me, you idiot! What the hay were you doing anyway? Sleeping? WAKE THE HAY UP!" she shouted, making her words seem like they were yellow jackets ready to sting anypony she threw her words towards. If she kept going, it would seem like she was going to grow fangs and bite anypony in her way.

She muttered her last few words, realizing what she was saying. Eternity took a big breath, then sat back down, muttering a few more rude words. She then sighed, taking a few more breaths, then started chewing on her gum at a normal pace again. She looked back at the Pegasus, still with a small glare. Her eyes were still rapidly upset, looking like dragons about to blow fire. The grey mare was awfully upset.

(lol another long post. I guess they are great? haha)
