"It's not unlikely, I once stared at them for an hour before I realized what I was doing" Slipstream replied. Both of the mares were quite worried over the condition of Morning Sun, whom of which was completely entranced by the elements in their display case. It was actually becoming a bit unsettling as the look on his face was completely stoic throughout the entire duration of his staring. Midnight waved a hoof right in front of his face in an attempt to get his attention, the likes of which was responded by shaking his head and letting out an unusual gurgling sound as Sun regained his bearings.
Slipstream raised an eyebrow and stepped closer. "S-sorry...what?" Sun asked, confused over everything that had happened in the last while. "Ya spaced out there for a little while, we got worried" Slipstream explained. Sun nodded in comprehension, then glanced over at the case again. "I guess there was just something...enchanting about the elements" Sun stated in an unsure tone. Slipstream just grabbed hold of his muzzle with her wings, standing up on her hind-legs in order to do so. Yet another unusual act of Slipstream he'd have to chalk up on the proverbial board later.
After her feathery embrace with the tall stallion, Slipstream settled back down on all fours and smiled innocently. Sun merely cleared his throat and looked back over at Midnight, whom of which seemed very concerned over his well-being. "Sorry for making you worry, I guess I just got completely absorbed by the magic in the elements" he told her gently. "Maybe earth ponies are a little more sensitive to the magic the elements exert?" Slipstream guessed. Sun merely furrowed his brow in response. "If they were more sensitive, then how could there be two earth ponies capable of wielding them?" he asked. "For that matter, what makes pegasi immune to it?" he added. Slipstream merely shrugged her shoulders and gave a blunt "Dunno".
