Slipstream took a few steps forward and kept her glare stern on Morning Sun. Sun, on the other hoof, stood perfectly still. He didn't want to make things worse by trying to escape from the angry mare. "Now, when I said lost...I meant to say-" Sun started before Slipstream raised a hoof in front of his face. "Save it, buster. You got a big mouth on ya; It's so big I bet it gets caught on the tree branches when you walk under 'em" Slipstream joked in a serious tone. Sun merely darted his eyes back and forth while he looked at her. "Am I supposed to be scared or laughing?" he whispered to Midnight. Slipstream intensified her glare and Sun straightened his back in response.
After a minute or so had passed, Slipstream's facial expression changed into a smirk, and Sun became confused. First she seemed as though she was mad, and then she was suddenly happy. There was nothing Sun knew about mares-aside from always being honest with them-and Slipstream was definitely a tough one to read, even for him. Slipstream flapped her wings and hovered up and then turned her back to the ground, laughing her feathers off. "You shoulda seen the look on your face!" she exclaimed between breathes. Sun just stood there, dumbfounded for a second time, and asked "Did I miss something?" to no-one in particular. Slipstream then flew forward and managed to contain her laughter. "Alright, let's get this show on the road. Don't wanna get started at sunset now, do we?" she rhetorically asked as she started dragging the two ponies with her.
Sun merely looked at Midnight in confusion as he was being dragged. He made a shrugging motion and accepted the fate that had befallen him. "Anything just to move ahead, eh, Moonslicer?" he asked the dark mare.
