(O-RP : The turban that Ashti putted on Firespine's head, is not a tunic XD. It's a hat : www.tfsimon.com/221.bmp.jpg .)
"Oh, um, yeah, we should... Wait, one question first- is there anything I should know with customs?"
... oh?... eheh. No. At least nothing which could be useful for now : We, Sandlanders, have a deep appreciation for respect and politeness. I can teach you a couple of polite words like "Sukriya" which means "thank you", from "sukri" (Thanking) and "ya" (you). To greet, you can use "Namasteh" which is similar to "hello" in more casual. What you just have to know if to bow your head slightly while greeting or thanking, as a mark of respect.
Leaving the young mare to remember it during a minute, he then resumed, looking to the glancing citizens.
... However one three ponies live in this city- region, and maybe in the whole nation... citizens are accustomed to us, but please, do not mind if somedeer is gazing you ; you are probably one of the few mare -and foreign tourist- that they have seen in their own life.
Smiling to her, Ashti then leaded the young mare on the main street of the city, commentating several buildings, notably one with the appearance similar to an posh university/academy and having three towers which rose over the city. imageshack.us/f/824/scopiecopiecopiecopieco.png/
This is the "Birc de al-Arkhane", the Tower of the Arcanes. Here is kept and taught secular Arcanum, the magic art of Deerham. And here, this is the "Sitaraghar", an observatory which is also a kind of school for astronomers and cosmologists.
With his hoof he designated a large building in his right side while they passed through some questioning glances from the crowd. However it didn't fazed the Ambassador which, at an intersection, asked to the mare to follow him in the left path, the one toward a rather animated part of the city where several stands, 50, where facing each other in two lines :the Bazar, the Marketplace.
Here there were store of foods from many countries as domestic, spice and herbs, fruits and vegetable, of elegant traditional cloths, of handicraft like embroidery and magnificent carpets, vases and elaborated piece of potters.
Flowers also, thought imported from foreign nations or ally ones. Some prod.
The place was quite living and except of some glances no one really cared about the two ponies, or at least they were too focused to drive a bargain with merchants.
