Solar Empire or New Lunar Republic?

If your chara lived in the world where Luna rebelled again and had enough support to do it successfully, would they throw their support and abilities to the Solar Empire or the New Lunar Republic? Why would they do it?

Of course Cap'n Pio would support Princess Luna, what with his family's Oath to her and his extensive experience of fighting stealthily, but, he would not feel right about rebelling against Celestia. In his time of being a Royal Observer, he's been promoted almost all the way to the top of the chain in responsibility, and he's seen how good of a ruler she could be. He also inwardly recognizes Celestia as the sovereign ruler of Equestria and Celestia's Equestria as the REAL Equestria. But what Luna wants, he gives to her. He works still as an advisor and Observer, doin' what he does best.

Nightsky's family was closely aligned with the Eclipsa in the Second Lunar Rebellion, but he himself has had enough with rebellions and hiding in the dirty, dangerous Everfree Forest. It's time, he says, that ponies just accept that Celestia is a good ruler and we should all just live in the peace and Harmony she gives us with her sister in UNITY. He uses his psychic powers to spy for the Solar Empire.

Radiant Moonstone, Glassblower of Stalliongrad and Archaeologist - Solar Empire, sympathy for New Lunar Republic.

Moonstone doesn't concern herself in politics much anymore, considering her experiences during her time with the Eclipsa. The Solar Empire has its hoof over Stallingrad, though, so she'll contribute in whatever way she can to fighting the seccesionists. Not quite out of loyalty, but because she wants to stay a good, quiet, taxpaying citizen and outta trouble.

But, if we choose the "what if", then...

Salamalec Sandburst of Elysion = The Solar empire (because his family are Canterlot's aristocrats.)

Khafir = the Lunar Republic (because he meet more time Luna, than Celestia. But He could be more a sympathizing/collaborator, than a true member.)

Shazadeh : maybe the Solar Empire if he was still Prime Minister.

Bastion Crown = Solar Empire (because he's a Celestia's pegasus guard.)

Moogie - Would remain as neutral as possible until the need to flee the land was upon her. She's merely a business pony who serves the PrincessES. Not one, but both. She might be slightly SLIGHTLY bias to Princess Luna, having an affinity for the night and her ruling. But she would still remain neutral to the fact that she is a subject of both, and would resist choosing a side.

Paisley - Doesn't get a choice since she's Moogie's kid.

Golia - Would side with the Solar Empire as a guard duty, being previous captain of Canterlot's guard he might be called back for the job.

Marigold - is a seapony and doesn't care

Natasha - Would probably be neutral as well and invest in the businesses that would be a product of the war.

Wild Fire - Solar Empire. Reasoning is not needed.

Springtail - Solar Empire for being a part of the guard to begin with. Reigns under Celestia and her ruling, even if Luna is a princess as well.

lol I have no Lunar Empire sided ponies (except for alternate universe Golia who has a huge grudge against Celestia for laying him off).

Peanut Butter - New Lunar Republic. Reason: She has always had a slight resentment against Princess Celestia for leading the idiocy that is Cutie Marks.

Lucrezia Protector - Neither. The war would probably kill Lu on the inside, her Cutie Mark depicts both princesses and she was in utter confusion until Luna's return. If her return was in anger Lucrezia would probably join a small faction to stop both sides.

Saturnino Dionisio- He is part of a family that is a neutral faction in the first place so he would just follow his brother and father. He would probably grow up to side with The Solar Empire seeing as his home country had no structure.

Shadow Shimmer has always preferred the New Lunar Republic for her unfair judgement and rejection from the wonderbolts and air force. They claimed her tricks, performance, and moves were too dangorous and risky. Furthermore, her style seemed too dark since it left the clouds black and left behind shadow. Shadow is not part of the New Lunar Republic yet but is searching to join.

Anvil would join the republic because of the fact that he had always been treated as a bit of an outsider,due to having been brought to ponyville from a far off land as a child and disliked due to accelerated discovery of his talent.he is tired of seeing those who shunned him be oppressed under the rule of celestia,be they deserving of it or not.he would fight for the republic to bring freedom and equality to equestria.

Astral - New Lunar Republic, his duty as a Night Guard.

Lux - Not enough experience with either royals, perhaps New Lunar Republic due to faction, although just as likely to not get involved.

Codii - Solar Empire, she prefers monarchies to republics.

Evy - New Lunar Republic, similar reasons to Astral.

Hasta - New Lunar Republic, without doubt, NEXT.

Hyperion - I doubt she'd care.

Halcyon: Try to take the throne.

Vincere: Try to take the throne.

Caelum: Probably try to take the throne, if not stay out of it.

Firespin - I think that her family, while not speaking on the issue, would either be neutral, or they might all be torn apart due to being on different sides of the issue. Firespin herself would be neutral and unsure of who to choose.

Madam Rasoo'let - Very loyal to the Solar Empire, and wouldn't understand the rebellion, possibly even refusing to.

Coelho Observador - Neutral and wouldn't want to get involved.

Oreintail Magnify - Neutral, but would hold sympathy for both sides and try to follow what happens.

Rip Deal - Sides with neither of them, as he strongly dislikes all royalty.

Starlit: it wouldn't matter for his unknown hatred for the Monarchy. either way, he's won't bow down to anyone

Hunter: he'd probably be the leader of the little rebellion to overthrow the kingdom, he would either be successful or die trying.
