Trotting down the road, Write feels a big smile on his face. After the great early morning in the park, he, Slide Fortissimo, and Ejaz all agreed to head to Sugar Cube Corner first before heading to the library. After heading their separate ways, or at least Write Holiday heading to his house first, he seems to be the first one there.
"Huh, thought there'd be more ponies." He wonders around the empty shop, waiting for a sign of activity. An blue pony from behind the counter offers to take his order. "Oh, why yes. I'll take a cake and some of the sugar cookies please. And could I possibly rent the party room for the day? I now it's short notice, but at least two friends of mine will be arriving and we don't exactly have a place to go."
After working out the details with the blue pony, now known as Ms. Cake to him, someone he met only once to order a drink, he heads up the stairs and into the big empty room, setting up a fairly large table. "Oh, and Ms. Cake, open my tab please. What ever they, and anypony else who might show up, order I'll take care of the bits. And if anyone at all asks, could you let them know we're up here? Thanks." She After his most recent published book, one from half a year ago, he has gained enough bits to live very comfortably, though still choosing to stay in the small and quiet town of Ponyville in an even smaller cottage has it's monetary benefits. So Ms. Cake happily agrees and they finish setting up. An extra few chairs to accommodate any others who might meander in, along with a cake in the middle of the table and some other cookies and treats set throughout the table, all bringing the room together.
Favors were strung up and a table cloth was laid out, giving the room a close, happier feeling. "Perfect. Not that this is a party per-say, but it's at least a more up-beat feeling." He jumps onto one of the chairs and sits, looking around the room. "Nice. Now just to wait."
