-Personality Stuff-
Likes:The calm and quiet, though doesn't mind getting a bit loud on some rare occasions. If out with a good friend, all bets are off...time to party. Enjoys staying up later, but prefers the day to the night. Helping others and will do anything to help, it means a lot to him to be able to help.
Dislikes:Anything overly loud, it slowly turns into a sensory overload. Rudeness, because is there really any need to be rude?
Motivation:Helping others, because there is nothing like knowing you helped make someone else's day even a little bit easier. Making others happy, as once they're happy, you're happy that they're happy, and then literally everyone involved is happy! Even though he tries to be and is truly humble, however a secret of his is to be as famous as Daring Do, if not even more so. It drives him, each day, to write.
Strengths:Taking charge while avoiding being a total control freak. He loves being in charge, as he is very good with handling the stress and pressure of being a leader, as well as handling the negativity and criticisms of others. He is also creative, weather it be while writing or problem solving, he can always think outside the box. Lastly he is very charismatic, and loves talking. It relieves stress, and allows him to have interaction with others that he rarely gets, as most of his time is spent writing.
Weaknesses/Flaws:Short temper, mainly with himself if he messes something up. He expects himself to be almost perfect, not because of an ego, but because he wants to be perfect for others. If he doesn't meet these expectation, he becomes frustrated with himself. This is due to his past. temper, mainly with himself if he messes something up. Expects himself to be almost perfect, not because of an ego, but because he wants to be perfect for others.
Fears:Not being able to help. Not being able to help yourself is one thing, but not being able to help someone else is even worse because even though they need it and you want to give them the help, you just can't. It feels awful. While he isn't afraid of the dark, he can't stand extended periods of time in the dark, it's just creepy and you're practically blind in the dark and it's just not a fun thing to be in for a long time.
Overall Persona:Write Holliday thinks that respect is above all other feelings of mutuality. He loves meeting people and enjoys long, or short, conversations with others. He is strong willed and is willing to put nearly anything on the line to help a friend. Though he has been writing for many years, he has yet to hit the type of fame he would like. On the other hand, he is known to a fairly large degree of equestrians, as he writes anything from a good futuristic syfy book, to a classic history book. He believes that life is meant to help others, as he grew up in a well-mannered family. Write always does what he thinks is right, and although he may be considered thick-headed, he is always willing to hear others out. At the end of the day, if he made even one pony smile, laugh, or be entertained, he did his part and can sleep happy. While he would love to get to know famous ponies that are constantly on the news, he understands that real life comes into play and couldn't be happier about it. He has spent his life trying to help those in need and gives motivation where it is needed. He is also very fun at parties and often becomes the life of it. Of course he isn't the most lively pony ever, but he is definitely willing to try to keep one alive as long as possible. He always lives life to its absolute fullest.
History/Background:Growing up in a well-mannered family, Write Holliday was taught that helping others was the best thing you could do in life. He loved his family and they loved him back. Of course however, luck would have it that his memory of either of his parents was taken away when he had surgery on his hearing. He used to be nearly deaf and was expected to be at a complete loss of hearing, however the doctors and nurses saved it and gave him very sensitive hearing while accidentally hitting the part of his brain that held these memories. After that he was given a birth certificate of a pony that had taken a blood test, requesting that he took one as well. After the results came back he learned that he has a brother out there. After the surgery he spent a lot of time in the dark, scared of what might happen in the future. He felt it was his fault that he couldn't remember and slowly began to loose his mind. Noticing, he went to a therapist and they helped him before he went totally insane, however the experience left him scared of long times in the dark, it beings beck the feelings and memories, and he either leaves immediately or gets... loopy. Now a successful writer, he now hopes to get out side and interact with others in his new home in Ponyville, and make some good friends.
