Additional Status: She has a pet bird named Maggie (a violet green swallow), sometimes written as "Mg" (Magnesium) - Izzy enjoys keeping her bird cage around her lab bench when she's working since Maggie sings some quite beautiful songs.
-Physical Stuff-
Pelt Color: a dusty/dirty mint green color that gradually gets darker (transitions down her legs to brown)
Mane/Tail Color and Style: She has mildly curly hair, most of it dusty/dirty blonde, but the edges are a faded blonde-turning-pink : Her tail only has hair on it at the end (similar to a lion's tail-somewhere in her lineage is some griffon DNA). Because of the curly nature of her mane, she usually wears a bandana (usually bright pink) to tie the hair off of her eyes, and braids the rest of her mane.
Eye Color: Dark brown, chocolatey
Cutie Mark: Her cutie mark is a little Erlenmyer flask filled with a bright pink liquid with little swirls of pinkish smoke curling out. There is a gold sparkle in the foreground of the flask.
Other Scars/Markings: In a grade school chemistry class, she spilt some low concentration acid on her left hoof, leaving a faint burn there.
Physique: She is a little chunkier than average, and shorter than the average pony, but not by much.

Current Residence: Her family home, which she occasionally stays at since the home she owns is quite small, is in the Whitetail Wood, but Izzy herself owns a home in Ponyville.
Job: She is currently a florist/part of a flower-delivery service, but she is working in her free time to use her schooling to score a job as a chemist in Canterlot.

-Personality Stuff-
Likes: She likes all the sciences, especially chemistry, and enjoys spending time in various labs, messing with materials and creating experiments. She loves her birdie, Maggie, and she loves her parents more than anything except maybe succeeding at cracking a particularly difficult problem. She calls her cousins her brothers, and getting to see them is always a major highlight. She loves sunshine, especially in the wintertime on those certain rare days when it's sunny. Her favorite color most of the time is pink, but it changes periodically. She'd do anything for a good slice of cheesecake, considering that's her favorite food.
Dislikes: She hates the rain as long as she's outside, since it puffs up her hair and gets her hooves all muddy. She doesn't particularly like the springtime since she has pretty bad allergies. Bugs don't like her, so she doesn't like bugs, and she will never wear the color orange. She wouldn't admit it outloud, but she doesn't particularly like those ponies that don't seem to know that much about her favorite subject (science), even though it is a niche topic.
Motivation: Success motivates Izzy. She wants to make her parents proud by achieving great things in a difficult field, but mostly, she wants to prove her own abilities. Her motivation can also be her weakness in the sense that she can lose sight of others trying to become the best she can be. The mysteries of chemistry motivate her.
Strengths: Izzy is fantastic at multitasking, and she's pretty good at teaching other ponies things. She would make a great teacher if she had the patience. She's good at difficult science and math, and has a sarcastic sense of humor which appeals to some ponies, and leads her to form strong friendships.
Weaknesses/Flaws: Izzy can get way too collected in her work. She can neglect friendships and social interactions sometimes due to being to focused on her hobbies, and she struggles making light conversations with ponies. She can be pretty mean (in her head, usually) to other ponies if they aren't on her academic level, and she has very thin patience.
Fears: She fears failure in her studies, rejection of her dreams, and the dark.
Overall Persona: Izzy takes her time warming up to people. She looks and sounds bubbly and fun, but tends to take things too seriously. Due to how approachable she looks, many ponies tend to make small talk with her when she delivers flowers or is managing the shop, but she usually doesn't enjoy this kind of chit chat. Izzy was raised as an only pony, and feels a strong connection with her parents. From a young age, she showed an interest in the sciences, and her dad started pushing her to pursue that love. He jokingly calls her Soda Pop, trying to make her relax a little and be less uptight. Izzy is fiercely loyal to the close friends she makes, and loves to try to impose her love for science on others. She was terrified to move to Ponyville at first, wanting to stay in the Wood and use the equipment she had there to further her career, but her parents also wanted her to grow into a social life. She hopes to find some ponies in Ponyville whom she can make fast friends with. Izzy is usually in a pretty good mood, and for the most part, doesn't care about her appearance all the much. Some could go as far as saying she was a tomboy since they'd never once seen her dress up before.
The only place Izzy feels truly relaxed and at home is at her lab bench with Maggie singing lovely melodies from her birdcage. She is trying her best to start thinking better of ponies around her and open herself up to some more friendships. She has good intentions at her core, but her ego and her academic achievement can sometimes cloud that.
