-General Stuff-
Name: Whisk Distortion
Nickname/Aliases: Zephyr, Rainbow head, Shun(“tion” as in the ending of his name)
Race: Earth pony
Gender: Male
Age: Stallion
Additional Status: Has a good reputation as far as business goes. He’s occasionally seen with shades, a pink tie complete with white collar and his leg warmers.
-Physical Stuff-
Pelt Color: Chocolate brown
Mane/Tail Color and Style: Long black wild hair; 2 locks of it hanging over both shoulders in addition to a third on his back. Not to mention the 3 streaks of color being red, blue and yellow that ride along his bangs above the eyes. His tail also on the wild side though shorter than most ponies.
Eye Color: Due to the rare condition of Heterochromia Iridium, he has 2 different eye colors of black, and white/Platinum.
Cutie Mark: 3 question marks merged by their dots (Similar to the how the Nazi symbol is 4 sevens merged?) over a thundercloud releasing a bolt of lightning creating a fire. (Sounds confusing right?) This clutter of mystery (Get it? Mystery, Question marks? Sorry… read on…) appeared on his flank after assisting a mare with her plumbing and repairing a tree house for a few foals. Though no one could explain what his talent was, nor even understand what it meant.
Other Scars/Markings: A “symbol” that represents a pact he and his friends made when they were young colts, covered by a bandage at all times and hidden under leg warmers. (Sorry peeps but this one is a non-given ^m^)
Physique: Aside from being slightly taller than most stallions, he's also very fit and flexible due to the hard-work he's done.
-Social Stuff-
Current Residence: Ponyville
Job: After a successful business dawning in Manehattan with his friends, and expanding the family business to and fro in terms of work ethics. He decided to set-up shop in the new residence of ponyville in hopes of building an organization to change the way everyone views everything around them. Basically, his business is the collection of what is considered junk, (Broken, thrown out objects and such…. You know what I mean right?) recycling them, (Basically just fixes them right back up. Mint condition? Try Super mint condition xD …heh… I’ll be over here…) and selling said junk as brand new products. Not to mention other side jobs like masonry, plumbing, carpentry and electronics. Though he’s honestly hoping to recruit actual professionals for each trade instead of having to stress over too much to do or not knowing what to do. Luckily being called in for such is rare, leaving him to walk a relatively stable path. He himself is the president of the business, and normally handles the side jobs when required.

-Personality Stuff-
Likes: Seeing the smiles of happy folk always brings joy to his heart. Especially if it’s one of his customers, which happens to be one of the reasons he enjoys doing what he does. “Too much candy is never a bad thing.” A fellow sweet tooth that enjoys all cake, pie, bread, snacks, and candy alike. There isn’t a day in his life that he never ate something of the sort. He also adores spending time with his friends, whether it is while working or simply goofing around. He always makes sure to spend every waking moment with them. Being there to see someone take-off for their dreams and flounder in their achievements knowing how hard they worked is another great feeling that he treasures.
Dislikes: He hates it when someone says they didn’t have any other choice, and tends to blabber on about how wrong they are and the infinite things they can do in any situation. Basically preaching to them that it is their fault for making the choice that brought them unsatisfactory in the first place and that lying about it being the only option was stupid and he would stress on how stupid it really is and how limited their thinking is.(Long story short, he will go nuts if anyone as much as mentions those words to him. Not literally nuts by the way XD) those that gloat without proof of anything or take it too far. Doesn’t like the sight of bullying, but also doesn’t interject unless required or asked for help. Being pestered on small details and being told how to do his job will end in him walking away and ignoring the cause for a period of time.(Yeah… even if it’s a job, if he’s harassed enough or told how to do what he was called to do, he’ll just leave. Poof! Though it’s normally till he forgets about the one who annoyed him in the first place XD) it may seem odd as he’s a pony but… he isn’t too fond of neither fruits nor vegetables at all, leaving him to turn away any food or even desert containing such. (Though they are some exceptions; like banana bread :3)
Motivation: His dream to have everyone experience the world like they never had before, whether it be seeing things differently or making changes for a better future. To grow old with his friends and see where the ability to make any choice in life takes them.
Strengths: He has experience in every trade, some more than others. He’s a very quick learner. He’s pretty active, with a lot of energy to burn. He has leadership qualities, and is easy to get along with.
Weaknesses/Flaws: Can be really stubborn, will act selfish from time to time, As blunt as a hammer when he’s ready, A bit of a smart mouth.
Fears: He has a phobia about knives and anything remotely related, having said object constantly enlarge in his vision while in a delayed reaction before subconsciously putting distance between it and himself. He’s also afraid of bat ponies, mostly because of rumors he heard as a little colt.
Overall Persona: Basically he’s a gay individual obsessed with the idea of probability and possibility. Whenever somepony has their mind set on they having their backs to the wall, or having no other options or just plain and simple unable to avoid a situation, he’ll be the first to voice out his concerns. Of course he won’t be in any way subtle about it, and will most likely come off as rude or disrespectful, but being that he himself overcame “that” way of thinking after his childhood, and became aware to the near infinite things one can do and the chances of a “good” ending being translucent, he feels that if he doesn’t stress how wrong it is to limit one’s self, that he may one day either revert or forever be alone in the concept of everyone slowly draining themselves of what they’re truly capable of.
When it comes to his business, he keeps everything on a level that not only his friends can appreciate, but his customers and comrades as well. He’s very fond of interaction, and only passively sticks his nose into the problems of others, as when it comes to the job, it’s not about the bits to buy, but the bits of happiness in a result both parties are satisfactory of. Aside from putting whoever he assists first, he deeply favors his closest companions, and at times will share a slice of banana bread no matter how tasty, or face-off against another with intention to defend no matter what side of the problem they’re on.
Knives or anything of the cutting edge metal family will leave him motionless for a few seconds before yelping and leaping away on sight, forcing him to pay 200% of his attention onto the object and that object only, leaving him to fall prey to a clumsy act like; breaking a 300-year old crystal vase. The idea of bat ponies acting vampire-like has also been nailed into his head due to rumors, leaving him to fear them as well.
History/Background:
Whisk was raised in manehattan and lived under the roof of his mother and father, who were very experienced in their prospective fields of trade. They weren’t the flashiest or the most high-tech or anything, but they knew what the job was really about, and put their all into every build or repair they’d have done.
Whisk looked up to his family, hoping to follow in both of their hoof-steps one day, and make others smile as brightly as they did. Tackling every job with bravery and respect no matter what obstacles interrupted or how tough it was. Though from time to time they would be mess-ups and misunderstandings but, they got solved. Not all on the best terms either but, they made it through.
On his way from school he overheard his mother and father talking about a business idea they had for a while, and how they may have to give up on it because of circumstances. Little Whisk couldn’t believe what he heard. “Mom…? …Dad?” He stood at the entrance to the living room before falling to his rump in the hallway. Soon after noticing their colt, the father sauntered to his son, an attentive smile upon his face. “Welcome home Whisk, how was school?” His mom brightened. “You alright there little Whisk?” A fatherly hoof fizzle his son’s neatly combed mane. The colt shook his head slowly at the questions.
“You and mommy worked really hard on the business plans dad, why’ve you two given up without even trying?” Whisk whined, his parents only able to wistfully look at their foal at the fact that he was right. They hadn’t thought about how their choice would affect little Whisk, deeming that he had no responsibilities as of yet. “Listen son, as far as work is concerned, your mom and I are more powerful as small-time contractors, and given our fields of work, it wouldn’t be enough to benefit the idea we’ve been discussing. Besides, we’re doing well aren’t we?”
After his father’s statement he rose to his little hooves. “You’re afraid aren’t you…?” Mom had left to make dinner as soon as the father had begun his explanation, leaving the old buck to stare in shock. “You’re both lying to yourselves… They aren’t any circumstances or anything stopping you at all. You’re just… Plain scared of expanding and doing something incredible. I don’t know, and I admit I really don’t understand, but most of all.” Whisk turned in the direction of his room. “I’m not stupid…”
Years had passed since then, and little Whisk was now a young adult who’d have met several friends during his work. He learned not only plumbing from his mother and carpentry from his father, but he also studied electronics, mechanics and masonry. Whisk was dead-set on taking the idea his parents had to the next level. He was going to achieve what his parents didn’t want to, and best of all, he was going to do it all his way.
