Jewelry - As a jewelry professional, she may not wear any, but collects tons of it and loves seeing new examples. Flowers - It isn't a huge part of her life, but she's a sucker for the colored plants.
Magic - Especially since she's not great at it, all kinds of magic fascinate her.
Working - She's married to her job, and being occupied is a plus.
Foals - All young ponies are adorable to her. She wants to have her own one day, if she ever finds the right pony.
Making others live's easier - It's her talent to enchant items, so she does it to help ponies, and there's nothing like the feeling of knowing that she's done so.
Dislikes:
Water - Being unable to swim, any water frightens her, really.
Failure - She was punished when she failed as a filly, so doing things wrong is a no for her.
Getting dirty - In Canterlot, mares are raised with class, and classy mares don't get dirty.
Boredom - With a mind that wanders as much as hers, boredom strikes painfully.
Being alone - She's a naturally social mare, and not having anyone around saddens her.
Falling/tripping - Maybe it's because she's tall, but the thought of hurting herself by hitting the ground scares her.
Motivation:
Satisfying ponies who can't use magic her with magical items - Blue has always felt bad for ponies who don't have magic, especially since her own magic isn't strong. It helps her get through the day knowing she's letting those ponies have magic, even if it isn't their own.
Making these items to sell - Not only is it her talent, but being the one who makes and enchants objects for others to use is even better than resales. She also finds joy in creating them, and they fuel her to do new things.
Finding true love - Blue has always wanted to have a special somepony, marry them, and even have a foal one day. Her whole life, this has been something that pushed her through life's hardships - the hope that someone will love her like that someday.
Strengths:
Can easily enchant objects - Enchanted things can be used by herself and other ponies, which are useful all of the time. Runs quickly - She probably won't be winning a race against an earth pony, but compared to other unicorns, Blue is a true speedster.
Luck is usually on her side - Another part of her cutiemark is good fortune. At least, most of the time.
Weaknesses/Flaws:
Can't swim - She didn't have time to learn as a filly, and now, she never will.
Doesn't have a strong magical ability when it comes to doing things other than enchantment - She was born with weak magic power, and even with advanced tutors to train her, enchanting is the only thing she does well.
Isn't able to carry very heavy things - As usual for unicorns, she's not very strong, and neither is her magic, so carrying heavier objects is something she cannot do.
Needs everything she owns to be totally clean - It's a little OCD of her, but she hates it when things are dirty. Her entire house and everything in it is spotless.
She can be very manipulative at times - Maybe it's from years of being trained private lessons to raise her IQ, or maybe she was just born like that. But, usually to her customers, she can slyly use anything to her advantage and manipulate ponies into doing things.
Stubborn - Once she has her mind set on something, it's tough to get her to stop, no matter what it is or who you are.
Fears:
Drowning - She can't swim, so drowning and deep water are her biggest fears.
Not fitting in - Since she's unlike most unicorns, she's constantly afraid she'll be rejected from society for being different.
Going out of business - She's married to her work, but what if there wasn't work anymore?
Falling - Ever since she fell from a tree as a filly, she's been afraid of falling, even though she didn't hurt herself when she did.
Overall Persona: Blue is an excitable mare who usually has a positive outlook on the world. She treats strangers as friends until they've proven they're not, and hates to give up on or fail anyone or anything. Her assuring and friendly personality almost always guarantees she'll sell her enchanted objects, but she may not be honest about everything at all times.
Despite her determination and friendliness, she crushes too easily, but it usually never turns out well for her. Afraid from previous rejections, she never tells anyone how she feels, even if she can truly see herself leading a life with them.
She views all problems as solvable, no matter how impossible, and always helps the best she can. However, she can't swim - in fact, she won't go anywhere near water that goes over her shoulders, because it terrifies her. She also gets unnerved when she trips on something, or falls from something that is higher than the surrounding area.
Although she doesn't mean to, Blue can be rather manipulative and sly. She definitely dislikes these traits, but she can't get rid of them, and it does show sometimes - usually to her customers.
She does good enchantment work, but when casting non-enchantment spells, it's much harder. Even the simple telekinesis spell takes a great deal of her concentration and may fail without warning. Because of this, along with her inability to swim or lift heavy objects, she has a relatively low ego most of the time - but she lacks in magic and strength, she makes up for in luck and speed. Luck has always leaned in her favor, and she's faster than the usual unicorn, but she thinks she's just weird and doesn't want to be that way. So, she tends to avoid other unicorns, afraid they'll reject her for being different. This feels rational to her, and when she does interact with those who are her race, she's more reserved and less friendly.
History/Background: Blue was born in Canterlot, but when she was no longer a teenager, her parents wouldn't let her stay with them. Unable to afford living in Canterlot, she moved to the nearby city of Ponyville, hoping to establish a stable life.
