Likes:
Quill loves anything that is ordered in chronological or rainbow order, watermelon flavored sweets, vanilla scented candles, the smell of new books, freshly-inked quills, making ponies smile, SOCKS so many socks, and a good pair of headphones to listen to music with. She's an easy pony to please, honestly.

Dislikes:
A large dislike or two of Quill's is anything out of place or unorganized, a tangled mane, a crinkled page in a book, ANY kind of insect, she just really cannot handle insects, when she uses her magic enough to where she forgets that working hard pays off, and those who don't appreciate somepony's hobbies and interests. Everyone should have their own opinions and ways of life, so back off of their innocent brain waves. She sees you judging.
Motivation:
Quill's largest motivation is her eldest sister, Moonbeam. They share so much in common that she is her biggest supporter and closest friends. Her other motivations include the fact that not just writing in general but her writing could put a smile on somepony's face or bring a tear to their eye, and the opportunity of getting that extra bit of money at the end of the day for a package of watermelon sweets from the marketplace.

Strengths:
Quill's strengths are being determined, setting a goal and working towards it deliberately, always being on top of things, always being that pony you rely on to make you laugh, and being a friend to anypony that is alone or in need of something. Quill has a bag at the hip ready for any emergency.

Weaknesses/Flaws:
Quill can sometimes let her work get too important for the rest of her life, lose herself in her thoughts, be too obnoxious or loud, never stop chatting, and can be rather bossy when set to work with other ponies. She can also let her brain get ahead of her heart, which is never a good thing.

Fears:
BUGS bugs all kinds of bugs, Quill despises bugs. She is terrified of losing her friends and/or family, and the thought of factories stopping production of watermelon sweets? It's unbearable. She would also loath getting lost in the woods and has a legitimate fear of one day losing her ability to preform magic, as that is the center for most of her creativity.

Overall Persona:
Quill is a pony that will truly always have your back. No matter the situation, she has what you need and will always be willing to give it to you (unless it's a package of candy you're looking for, in which case, don't even ask.) She has spent her entire life working as hard as she can through every year of school and tried her best not to get on anypony's bad side. As she lives her life as a young mare, now graduated from being a scared filly at elementary, she's adventurous and striving to meet special ponies in her life and find her bestest friend.

Quill's extremely hardworking and has had the biggest dreams of becoming a bestselling author. She wants more than anything to have fans read her works and have her family, her eldest sister especially, be proud of her and her work. From a young age, she wanted to be known for being a kind celebrity and trot through cities of Equestria she had never even dreamed of. Quill has never even left Ponyville, so the thought of visiting Fillydelphia and Canterlot is mind-boggling and completely exciting for her.
Quill has her own quirky style and sense of humor and though she has her nose in a book 70% of the time, she spends the rest of her day making everyone around her laugh. She will never allow herself to fade into the crowd and will continue to strive for being the best pony she can be. Quill is overall a pony with big dreams from a small background that just wants a pair of yellow and black socks.
History/Background:
Quill was born and raised in Ponyville. She was born as the youngest of three sisters, both of whom were much older than she. In fact, they were her step sisters and were not even in the same household as Quill was when she was growing up. So Quill grew up in an extremely quiet childhood, but she was never unhappy. She spent these young years honing her writing abilities and making friends at school. All of these years with just her parents to watch over her passes, and Quill grew from a shy foal to a boisterous teenager with a wild taste in fashion and an ambitious drive. She grew and matured and became a brilliant young mare with a background of years in writing practice. Because of her lack of siblings in the same household, she did not see her sisters as often as she would have liked to. However, Moonbeam became an outlet and a keeper of Quill and each became very close to the other. It is a quiet history and a short one that doesn't matter as much as what Quill plans to do for the future.
