Spearmint looked like she was ready to continue this little battle - she wasn't going to back off of protecting Storm Wind from this... this bully. Sky Bolt's words hit her, though, and for a moment... she actually believed he had a point - but then her mind kicked in. "Minty, what does it matter what you know of Storm Wind, and what you don't know? He doesn't know everything about you, either. He's still a good friend. Keep him, will you...?"
She watched Sky Bolt fly away for a few seconds before turning back to Storm Wind, who would get a smile from Spearmint as he thanked her - as she spoke up. "I'm not going to let a friend be picked on by a bully..."
But she felt she had to sit down as Storm Wind reminisced about his past. And to hear that he had a hard time flying at first actually seemed to hit her pretty hard, as she seemed surprised, even a little sad to hear that he had struggled so much... but then he would finish up by mentioning that he, too, would protect anypony... something that drove Spearmint to thought for a few moments... but she would soon reply, keeping that warm smile. "Hey, look at you now. One of the big racing ponies - you can fly better than most today, and I'm pretty sure that you could put Sky Bolt in his place if you challenged him to a race. But then when you consider you've been around Equestria and know how to deal with Timberwolves... don't you think you've become the better Pegasus between you and him?" The smile persisted, but faded just as quick as her hunger began to become a problem.
Looking around rather rapidly, Spearmint remembered where she was, and as Storm Wind asked her to lead the way to a good restaurant, she couldn't help but smile as she began to walk to the north-east to a rather small outdoor dining establishment, and while it didn't look like the greatest place ponies could settle down for a meal, she looked up at the sign - a half-covered sun with clouds and the writing announcing the restaurant as the Overcast Cafe - and the scarf-wearing Pegasus couldn't contain a grin. Good! The place was still open! Turning back towards Storm Wind, she would speak up again. "Not many ponies know of this place, but these Pegasi know how to make one awesome hayburger. You ask them anything, they can pull it off. Haven't been here in ages, but I'm glad to be able to come back here. Used to come here daily when I was racing in Cloudsdale for a while, too, so they just might recognize me. All we need to do is sit down and we'll be served within moments..." Spearmint would sit down, but there weren't any other Pegasi eating there - did Spearmint really know what she was talking about?
