@alltepeeps words: 390 | There it stood before her: the center of the whole town. Wait, how the heck did she get there? The immigrant stared up at the town hall wondering how she got so off track. she could have sworn that she was going the right direction to get to the market. She tapped her muzzle with the tip of her left hoof while pondering the question. Eventually she looked around at the other ponies who were going about their day. They all seemed to know where they were going. "O, isn dis jus' dandy?" the green coated mare planted her hoof back on the ground and started to trot around the edge of the rounded hall in the middle of the plaza, "I swore dat'as da'wite way." She scanned the streets on the outskirts of the open area in an attempt to recognize the path toward the mart. Eventually she made a full circle without recognizing any of the buildings in sight. She hadn't been to the town hall before as her apartment was quite close to bother her job and the market. The problem was she hadn't gone right from her job to the mart thus found herself there. Back at the front of the town hall she took the moment to peak into the building. She hadn't had the chance to look into a governmental building before and instead of letting the chance go to waste she figured she might as well get the experience. She looked around the space before trotting in and letting the door stay open by just a crack. The polished floors looked new and helped to amplify the sound of her hoof steps in the empty space. Ginny let out a whistle at that point "Wud'e look at dis!" Her pace picked up as she circled the empty hall, passing closed doors before stopping at the stage. With a swift leap she landed gracefully on the stage, her hooves making minimal sound as she centered her weight as to not damage the soft wooden surface. She turned her burgundy gaze over the empty space between her and the door. "Me 'ole town could fit'n 'ere!" She started to wonder how many residents of Ponyville could fit in, after all this town was at least three times the size of the town she came from. |
