Ice had only heard stories about the Crystal Empire, and had always wanted to go. With the vacation time, his family had decided to take a trip there, and he was going along with them. It had been a fun train ride there, and the train station had good food. But Ice had been itching to look around the empire, explore it all. While his parents went to the hotel, his sister going to the spa, he decided to just walk around the town. Well, him being a pegasus he decided to fly around, getting a view of the whole place from the sky. Of course, he didn't fly too close to the castle, because he didn't want the guards to freak out on him.
After a good flight, he took to the ground, deciding to get a closer look at everything. The ponies here were beautiful, to say the least. Ice kept staring at ponies, and most of them seemed very confused about it. He kept having to pull himself from staring, because he didn't want to come off as a creep. Then he started to look at the plants, and the road ways. This was nothing like Stalliongrad, nor Ponyville. He got some crystal berries, and put them in his saddle bags to snack on later. Though, he did eat a few before putting them away.
"Oh wow." He was walking close to a shop, that held many different types of crystals. He didn't want to shop right now, but he would make sure to come back later. That didn't mean he walked away. Staring in the window, he read, in his mind, the types of rocks that were in the window. Howlite, celestite, cat's eye, unakite, angelite, and so many more. Remembering the name of the shop, he continued to walk down the street, and then sat on a bench. Taking out the berries, he started to snack on them. The Crystal Empire was beautiful, and he couldn't wait to see everything.
