One of the dogs had decided to chew on the sled, and that had caused a lot of trouble for Ice Dog. Without his sled, he couldn't do his work. Because of that, he had left his dogs at home and went into the town, finding where he had originally gotten his sled in the first place. The pegasus had to explain what had happened, and how he needed a new sled. Lucky for him, he was a returning customer so the woodworker was kind enough to give a discount. It would still take a while, and cost a good amount, but it would be worth it. Without it, he wouldn't be able to afford anything, because he wouldn't be making any money. He thanked the wood worker, and went back into the town.
Feeling his stomach growl, he walked into a rather crowded restaurant. The food here were simple selections, but seemed to taste better than anywhere else. Ice had to choose a table that already had plenty of ponies in it, but at least it was a common thing. There were about four long tables, where pretty much every pony ate. Of course, there were a few round tables, but it only sat four and everyone seemed to be kind enough to let the ponies that were already in group take them instead of their parties having to split up.
"I'll have apple cider, and some fries." It was a simple meal, and he paid up front. He looked around at the other ponies, feeling kind of awkward. It was a good walk back to his house, and seeing how windy it was today, he didn't want to fly. Some part of him wanted someone to try and engage in a conversation with him, but most of his was scared half to death. If one of his dogs was here, that would probably be a comfort. His hoof rubbed on his harness, it bringing a slight comfort to him. Instead of running out, he'd remain sitting there, waiting for his food.
