Pelt Colour: A pale yellow.Mane/Tail Colour and Style: Storm's mane and tail are coloured chestnut brown, with a darker shade in places. They are shaped short, simple, straight, and a little spiky.
Eye Colour: A royal blue hue.
Cutie Mark: A downward-pointing sword surrounded by blue electric sparkles.
Physique: Tending towards the slightly bulkier end of an average build. Muscles indicate a fairly active stallion.
Additional: No scars or markings, but Storm's ears appear to be naturally flopped down. Also, he may often be wearing his cherished black cloak - it's a hassle to put on, though it does seem to help shield him in the bad weather that a pegasus might encounter in flight.

Current Residence: A Canterlot apartment on Academy Way (near the Canterlot Academy of Magic).
The apartment is a duplex, two storeys tall, and the other apartment on the left side is currently rented by another pony. The ground floor has a small but well decorated living room and kitchen. The upstairs has two small rooms, also well appointed. One room has a bed, the other room has a lot of shelves and a table and looks like it might have been a sewing room or craft room (Storm uses this other room as a "treasure room", his beloved authentic longsword has pride of place in it). The furniture in the apartment is of high quality. The bedroom window is very large with wooden shutters that can be opened or closed.

Adventure and Swordplay
Wherever adventure might be found, Storm searches. He couldn't bear the thought of a life without excitement and is often on the lookout for anything adventurous. For his anticipated adventures, Storm also enjoys practising in sword fighting, and always appreciates a chance to hone his skill. He also has an eye for good craftsponyship when it comes to swords.
Friendship
Everypony appreciates a friend of course. As awkward as he can be sometimes, Storm really does appreciate the company of others. He will always regard his friends in high esteem and value.
Food
Storm has a vast appetite nurtured into fruition after having grown up with a sister enthusiastic about cooking. He can eat quite a lot, and he has fine tastes regarding food. Fine tastes that he would admit frequently bring him back to oat burgers and hay fries.
Wrestling and Sport
Though not an immense fan, after a wrestling cow introduced Storm to Lucha Libre, he enjoyed the concept of the interesting and inventive fighting art and its conventions. Wrestling aside, Storm also likes to take part in all sorts of sport activities, especially ones he has not tried before. He does know not to be overly competitive, though; he enjoys playing at sport, winning isn't so important. (But it's still nice to win!)
Flight and Weather
As with many pegasi, Storm is a decent flyer and enjoys the rush of aerial acrobatics. Frequently mentioned hand-in-hand with aeronautics is the science of controlling the weather, and Storm is fascinated with the art of manipulating the skies. He's not a good weatherpony, but he marvels at the factors of temperature, pressure, moisture and so on affecting the forces of nature.
Music and Books
This is more of a secretive like. Though they may not seem like the sort of the sort of things to be embarrassed about Storm prefers to keep up a 'tough' image, and would be anxious to admit his appreciation for a good piece of music or book to anypony at the risk of looking like too much of an 'egghead'. He is more likely to open up about this sort of thing among friends.

Rudeness/Greed/Prejudice/etc.
If Storm sees any obnoxious pony giving others a hard time, he will inevitably be outspoken in his criticism of them. He thinks that all are equal, and he believes quite strongly in the importance of maintaining justice.
Disorganisation
It is a pet peeve of Storm's to see something messily set up. A tangled system, a convoluted perplexity or a confusing arrangement, all may induce a wince.
Boredom
Of course nopony likes being bored, and Storm is definitely no exception. While he doesn't exactly crave excitement all hours of the day, he really prefers an extraordinary day to a slow one.
Silliness
Storm doesn't care much for whimsy or absurdity. He will likely consider a silly pony to lack good sense. Naturally he doesn't approve of antics from attention-seeking types of ponies.
Superficiality
He thinks that putting too much effort of the appearance of something is not important, and disapproves of holding appearances in overly high importance.
Strengths: On physical strengths, Storm is a brawny and tough stallion and is always willing to lend a hoof to a friend needing help with some sort of tangible task. Additionally, he has a special talent in his swordsponyship - while he may not have ever tested his skill in real battle, he knows a fair bit about sword-fighting and is dexterous in that regard.
On psychological strengths, Storm Scout is very loyal and will always support his friends with all of his heart. He is also quite a confident pony; he takes a stubborn pride in a lot of what he does. He's usually assured in his abilities when he needs to get something done, and he is generally able to summon up the discipline and vitality needed to do it. After some study and experience Storm also knows a bit about retail, and managing a business.
Weaknesses: Storm is not the smartest pony. He can sometimes be irresponsible, he might act overconfident and reckless, and he can make poor decisions when he fails to consider consequences. He is sometimes stubborn and too prideful, unable to recognise when it might be necessary to back down. His pride may make him quick to anger sometimes, and he is capable of vehemently holding a grudge.
Storm can also be socially awkward. He isn't always the best in conversations, he is a little introverted at times and may especially have trouble finding words when meeting strangers. If he is meeting new ponies, he prefers them approaching him rather than the other way around.

Water - Well, not just any water. Specifically, large bodies of water. He has never tried swimming, and is afraid he would not be able to.
Monsters - The usual Everfree-sort of mythological monsters - while he has never encountered any, he would prefer to keep it that way, but he thinks he may have to conquer some sort of beasts to be a true hero.
Failure - Whether it's a large endeavour or a tiny task, Storm struggles to deal with any failure he experiences, and tries hard to prevent them. He avoids thinking of losing to competition as this sort of failure, but rather losing the personal challenges that he might face.
Judgement - Storm may sometimes worry about the opinions that other ponies have of him. He is self-concious at times, due in part to his sense of pride.
Overall Personality: Storm Scout is for the most part a confident and strong stallion, but can be awkward when dealing with ponies he doesn't know. In a particularly bad case of this awkwardness, it might be all he can do to grit his teeth and nod. Work through that awkwardness however and build a sense of familiarity, and one would find a very loyal friend. Storm tries to support his companions however he can. He maintains a sense of honour and justice, related to his dream of heroics. On a more mundane level of justice though, he will always have a distaste for cruel characters, and may spontaneously criticise or act against an obnoxious pony, pertaining to his belief in equality and fair treatment.
Although Storm believes that ponies ought to be treated with equal respect and fears others judging him, he can be judgemental of ponies characterised by silly behaviour. He views silliness as impractical and odd, but he will usually keep this opinion to himself. The same goes for ponies who seem to put too much value on superficial detail.
He is reckless sometimes. If he gets an idea in his head it may be quite a task to make him change that idea, since he can be stubborn. Additionally his sense of pride can be a burden, as he can take into disproportion any sort of unpleasantness or affront he detects.
He has an pet peeve over any considerable disorganisation he sees. A room in cluttered disarray, or a scatterbrained pony messing something up because they can't keep a good order? Not good enough in his opinion, try harder.
Overall Storm Scout is often quite an outspoken and passionate individual, even if his awkwardness or recklessness might trip him up. He might somewhat fulfil the stereotype image of a competitive and fiery Cloudsdale pegasus, but he tries to be kind and treats friends with the utmost loyalty and respect.
Background/History: Storm had a fairly normal upbringing. He was always a fan of military history and Celestia's royal guards, and eventually his mother gave in to his requests and gave him a wooden shortsword on a birthday; and so began the phase of pretending to be some sort of hero similar to Daring Do or the Power Ponies.
He was always a little awkward and when he was younger and still learning to fly, and he did better practising alone than with others watching. When the time came for school and Flight Academy however, he learned to fit in and even came to appreciate the new environment's social structure while he met other young ponies. He even met a few griffins in Flight Academy.
As he grew older he liked to venture further and further from home, and eventually once he was old enough he told his family that he would like to go out there, see the world, and meet new ponies. He still visits regularly, on a monthly basis at least if possible, and naturally flight has been very helpful for these regular trips, while he has been exploring Equestria.
