Pelt Color: Her whooves are a bright blue that slowly fades up her leg till it blends in with the dark grey pigment that covers the majority of her coat. Her feathered wings are also the same blue in coloration.

Mane/Tail Color and Style: She lets her main dangle to the side often getting knotted from spending most of her time in the air. Her tail is long and slightly wavy. They are both a blue pigment. 

Eye Color: Her eyes shine a bright indigo hue

Likes:

The Night
Yes, Nightwish enjoys the nighttime. The dark doesn't scare her like it might some ponies, instead she finds it relaxing. But what she likes the most is when it is not completely dark and shadows, but instead the sky has a very settle glow. She loves to fly around under starlight, and will also sometimes stop to gaze at these jewels that cover the sky. This is why she chooses to work through the night, rather then having a day job.  With this, also comes sleeping through most of the day. Many ponies say she misses out on things, since shes asleep all day, but she says they are just missing out on staying up all night, and working beneath the stars.

Sweets
Nightwish has a really big sweet tooth and enjoys a variety of candies of many shapes, flavors, and colors. She also really likes cupcakes, cookies, frosting, and really anything sweet that she can get her whooves on.

Freinds
What would life be like without friends? It is really hard for her to imagine what it would be like without other ponies to lean on. It would be nearly impossible for a pony such as herself. Tho, being a new resident to ponyville, Nightwish seems to be having more trouble making friends as she did before, as she has been busy at night with her new job, and most ponies are asleep. While they are awake Wish is usually sound asleep in the depths of her apartment. However, she always looks foreword to her trips to cloudsdale where she knows that her loyal friends will be waiting to see her again.

Animals
Wish also really enjoys animals, as they are an alternative source of company, and almost enjoys being with them as much as other ponies. Really, she likes any animal, as just like ponies, they all have different personalities and talents, but who she seems to connect with the most would definitely be Rusty. This is probably because she spends most of her time with her bat and has really grown dependent on him for companionship as of recently.

Singing
Nightwish enjoys a good song or two, but also enjoys making music of her own. She doesn't normally sing in front of crowds, but more a tune softly to herself when she is flying around. Tho, her friends usually also enjoy listening to her as well.

Pranks
Pranks can be fun to pull, or even receive when it is all in good fun. Nightwish often enjoys scarring other ponies with sneaky pranks she has planned. She enjoys the thrill of it, and even sometimes enjoys a good prank when it is pulled on her... as long as it isn't too scary and makes her look weak.


Dislikes:

Bullies
As most ponies, Wish is not all too fond of bullies, and being bullied as a child makes her dislike them even more. As she has grown up tho she has learned that bullies are not worth being afraid of, as they often only bully to make themselves feel good. She will often stand up for ponies who are being bullied however, and tell them that the bullies are not worth getting worked up about and not to listen to them, and remind them that they are talented just the way they are.

Being alone
Wish cannot stand being alone, it doesn't feel right to her. She just needs somepony she knows nearby and she is usually fine. As a matter of fact, it doesn't even have to be a pony, she is find with just animals around too.

Waiting
Nightwish is a very impatient mare, who gets quickly irritated when waiting around for a lengthy time with nothing to do. She will often end up nagging ponies around her, because she gets bored easily. Not only does she like to keep her mind busy, but also her body, and is not always so easily occupied.

Selfishness
Wish believes that ponies who are selfish will never learn and grow. You need to at least know your weaknesses in order to grow stronger. Even if you don't like to admit to those weaknesses, such as herself, you need to at least acknowledge them. It really bugs her when ponies think they are the best at everything, and this is something that will often set her off on a bad mood.



Motivation:

Friendship
It is simplest to say, the majority of her motivation comes from her friends. She will wake up every night knowing that their are ponies that care for her, even if she doesn't get to see them everyday, they keep her moving and motivated to live a thorough, happy and action - filled life.

Adventure
Seeking new places and information also motivates her. She quite enjoys adventure and seeing new places she has never been before. She doesn't get to travel much, but she does enjoy exploring the places she has already been to, and finding new things. This helps to entertain her and keep moving foreword in life.

Thrill
Lastly, the thrill of life altogether keeps her going, it is one of her favorite gifts that life grants her. She enjoys being a little bit scared at times, and having fun with it. Thrill helps her get threw the day with a smile on her face threw the majority of it.



Strengths:

Singing Voice
Her talent for singing is not normally used for show, but for fun. A good singing voice runs through her family tree, some of her family have made a career out of it, while some such as herself, have stuck to other things they enjoy more. However, Nightwish does enjoy singing, she prefers to have a job that she can be more active with and move around more. So, she will use her voice in her free time. Sometimes she will even sing quietly to herself while working.

Flying
Her job requires allot of flying around, so Nightwish has been able to build up her wing muscles over the past few years to become an efficient flyer, despite how she was in the past.

Being a good friend
Nightwish is very loyal and trustworthy. Despite the fact that she may come across as having a rough personality at first, she is actually very kind and caring. She likes to help her friends out whenever they need her, and likes to make them happy. Whenever someone feels gloomy or down, Wish can be a good pony to talk to. She is always a pony you can count on, as well as a shoulder to lean on when you need it. Howeverm she is also a pony who will expect the same in return.



Weaknesses/Flaws:

Stubborness
Nightwish is unable to admit to her mistakes... or at least, it is very hard for her to. Tho she will realize when she has done something wrong, she finds it hard to apologize, often to the point where it can create problems with her friends when all they really want is a simple apology. She will often try to make up for things she did wrong by helping ponies she wronged to with other things without actually admitting to her wrong doing.

Lieing
Often, to cover over her weaknesses and flaws, Nightwish will tell a white lie. This is because she fears what other ponies will think of her soft side. She wants to come across as the best, or close to it anyways, which she most certainly is not and she knows that.



Fears:

Others Judgement
If you were to ask her, she would of course say she did not fear anything. However that statement would be a lie to cover what she was truly afraid of... others finding out that she is not really as tough as she claims. She fears that others may judge her if they find out she is actually a soft kind of mare, so no one really knows who she truly is besides her family and close friends. She actually has a large list of fears, and despite the fact she would be ashamed if somepony else found out, she knows it is okay, because what would life be if there was no fear... Boring, right?

Lonelyness
Her dislike of being alone grew so great that she began to almost fear it. This became a struggle for her as a young filly. As, every time she was home alone was a struggle. She lost her feeling of confidence whenever she was left by herself. This would trigger more fears, and she would even begin to feel paranoid at times. Alone, she was defenseless, and if anypony, or anything was out to get her, she felt she could no nothing about it but hide. As she grew older, she had to gain more independence and found herself by herself more often. Wish has since gotten Rusty, a pet bat that can share the time she spends up all night with her. Tho Rusty is not a pony, it still gives wish the feeling of companionship and not being alone, and helps her get over her fear of loneliness.

Ghosts
Despite the fact that these things spark her interest, Those spooky ghost stories can still give her a scare, even if she is good at hiding it. Her rightful mind tells her these creatures are just old pony tails, but sometimes she questions that fact. She has never had an actual experience with a ghost, but that is no reason to say they couldn't exist...

The Everfree Forest
The Everfree is just too unnatural.. The air around it almost warns to keep away. Scince her hometown, ponyville, is nearby the forest Nightwish has passed it on several occasions. The strange noises that come from the forest tells her to keep her distance, and she does not plan on entering the forest, ever, unless absolutely necessary. Of course, still if anypony was to ask her, she would tell them that Everfree was no different then any other forest, and she was not scared of it at all.


Overall Persona:

Nightwish, or Wish for short, is a dark grey mare with bright blue eyes, main and tail that seem to glisten beneath the starlight. Her wings and whooves also consist of this same blue color. Her main and tail are often messy from flying around all the time and being let loose to flow with the breeze. She is an energetic and impatient pony. Nightwish may appear to be a bit gruff when you first meet her, however, she is actually very soft and kind, and an extremely loyal friend. However, she will often make things up about herself to make her look good.

She grew up in Cloudsale as an only child, raised by her mother Moon Song and Father Golden Note. From them, she has inherited a beautiful voice she uses for fun, rather the professional use. Nightwish has recently moved to Ponyville, and has gotten a new job to manage the weather there at night, which she prefers much more then a day job. However, this means she must sleep during the day when her friends are awake. This makes things hard for her because she absolutely dreads being left alone... so much that she fears it. However, Nightwish has a bat named rusty to keep her company during these nights, so she is not completely alone.

Wish, lives for the thrills of life. She enjoys pulling well thought out pranks, as well as scareing ponies, she often doesn't mind being a bit scared herself as long as it doesn't end up in too big of an embarrassment.  She also enjoys doing stunts in the air.  From flying allot, she has grown decent wing muscles making her an efficient flyer, which is good for being a weather pony.



History/Background: 

Nightwish spent most of her life in cloudsdale, where she grew up, and was raised by her parents Moon song and Golden note. They were a small family if three pegasi. She loved her parents allot, and used to spend almost all of her time with them as a Filly. When they had to leave her alone, Wish used to get terrified and hide under the bed until their return. 

When she was old enough to start flight school, Nightwish was one to the worst flyers in her class. Her wings where strong enough to get her off the ground, but she couldn't do much else. Because of this, she was picked on allot by the other foals, until she couldn't stand it anymore. Everey night, she would go home and practice to get her wings stronger, and gradually stronger. After months of hard work, practice and dedication, Nightwish was finally able to keep up with the other foals in flight school. As a matter of fact, she was one of the faster flyers in her class. All of the others stared with amazement, until one pointed out that she still did not have her cutie mark, and once again, she was a laughing stock.

One night, beneath the stars, Wish laid outside on the ground of clouds. She gazed up at the velvet - black sky, when a glowing orb shot across her view.. a shooting star. Her mother said you could make wishes on them, and that is exactly what she did. She wished that ponies would stop bullying her in school.  

The next day, there was a new student in her class being picked on because they apparently couldn't fly at all.  Nightwish felt really bad for the new filly, so she stepped up, and confronted those who had picked on her for so long.  She stood up for everyone who was being picked on, and said that she had had enough.  A cutie mark of a blue and white shooting star then appeared on her flank.  After that day, the bullies stopped bothering her and everyone else they were picking on.
