Motivation: Find the love of his life, get better at his competitive flying, earn his degree in physiology and apply it to marathon flying to help coach and train the next generation of flyers. Marco wants to be able to share all of his knowledge and share of all of the joy he feels with the important ponies around him.

Strengths: Great at making friends due to his perky personality, Flying, being charming, looking handsome, great sense of humor, healthy eater, very fit, keeping up his positive energy, really good at doing the shuffle for some reason

Weaknesses/Flaws: Hard on himself for doing poorly at something. Bad at dealing with drama, isn't often willing to do new things that he thinks he wouldn't enjoy like farmwork, he's much to used to living the pampered life, has very little outdoor survival skills, would probably be pretty useless in a fight

Fears: Injury that might stop him from competing, arguments, ponies being angry at him, hurting a close friend by doing or saying something stupid dirt/mud/grease/grime stuff like that, making mistakes, all the monster that live in places like the everfree forest, losing his attractiveness, fear of somehow ending up alone, not finding the job he wants and being stuck doing weather work


Personality:
In general: Friendly, tries to be funny and usually succeeds. Marco has a habit of loving to embarrass his friends. Not by doing anything cruel or mean, but just by saying something awkward in order to get a reaction. However he is careful to embarrass only the friends he knows won't get mad at him or know how to take a joke. Really most that meet Marco would just say that he's really just a big goof ball that tries to have fun and find things to laugh about. He Simply loves to make jokes and enjoy the finer things in life.

More detailed: Having been born and raised in Canterlot Marco is slightly more refined then the average Pegasus. He defiantly enjoys the glamorous life. As can be noticed somewhat from the pristine condition of his mane and tail, as well as his exceptional posture and charismatic way of speaking. He loves doing certain things such as going to the spa, bathing in sunlight, wearing the latest fragrances, attending formal events and most of all looking good.

However Marco isn't just a pretty face. But has two more sides to him that give his character a few more dimensions. First of all he has some talent in academics. He enjoys studying physiology and health subjects and is really quite good at it. Even now he is working towards earning a degree that he can eventually make a career out of. The second side is his competitive history in sport. For the majority of his life Marco has been a marathon flyer representing the Canterlot flying team. It is something that is very close to his heart and even feels as though it defines who he is. He has a good mind and attitude about it and plans to take it as far as he can.

Still, nopony is perfect in every department and Marco is no expectation. The tall blue pony tends to get super uncomfortable when others are arguing around him or when anypony is mad at him. Basically he struggles dealing with drama or making mistakes. His happy-go-lucky nature does its best to tell him not to worry about it, But that doesn't mean he can't be hard on himself sometimes. For example, like after having a bad race or doing poorly on a test. He has defiantly has to work hard at being able to pick himself back up, get rid of the frown and go on being his happy self.

Finally Marco is an oddly affectionate pony, and has little problem approaching a prospective mate with romantic intent. Usually laying on some thick charm in order to make it known. However it should be noted that it's not mares he's after. Marco has always had stronger affective towards the male form, and is openly looking for the stallion of his dreams.

History:
Growing up as a Pegasus in Canterlot Marco led a very simple Childhood. His parents were both well off and his own friendly disposition and charm granted him many friends throughout his adolescence. Despite being a Pegasus in a predominately Unicorn filled town he fit right in with the rest. He was always accepted for exactly who he was even when his sexuality became apparent to him and those around him. Though his teen years Marco began experimenting with various sports and extracurricular activities before eventually settling on competitive marathon. He never quiet had the raw speed to keep up with sprinters and other fast flying ponies. But his endurance levels to fly at a steady pace over long periods of time made him exceptional for marathon races. He even earned his cutie mark the first time he tried it, and has loved doing it ever since. It also gave him the chance to see a bit more of Equestria as some races involved flying super long distances from town to town. But even through all of that he still decides to live in Canterlot where he can finish his education and continue representing the town he loves to live in.

Alllllrighty then time for the review.
I like this character, nice design, cool personality.
In fact theres one one or two things keeping me from accepting it on the spot. you've put a good ammount of detail into all sections however, I feel that Strengths, Motivation, Weaknesses and Fears could do with just a tad more. Not a huge amount but atm they're just falling a little flat.
