"Of course we are" Softspark said softly as her sister inquired about how they were. Truthfully, she was never mad to begin with, she just wanted to let her sister know what was and wasn't right. She nuzzled her sister's neck endearingly and then followed the rest of the crowd, staying close to Mindlight as she trotted along.
After offering to pay for the damagss, or at least her own portion of them, Dark Star couldn't help but laugh at Mindlight. "Please, you don't have to worry about anything. In spite of what you may think, Slipstream has access to a rather sizable chunk of bits that should more than pay for the repairs, perhaps even renovate the building to make it a little bigger" the black-and-red unicorn assured. Slipstream avoided making any eye contact as the group continued along the path back home. She didn't want it to be true, but she was going to have to inform her friends of the truth sometime soon. They were getting suspicious, and she wouldn't be able to hold off on it for long. "What would you need with a bigger house though?" Softspark inquired. "Maybe we could have another guest room set up, something to better accommodate other ponies with" Dark Star responded.
After some time passed, the six ponies had made it back to Dark Star's house and found it to be in relatively good condition. The front window was still intact, though the door was pulled off it's hinges, not to mention missing. Looking around, Sun found it lodged in the patio of the house across the street, the earth pony there seeming to struggle to get it out. Sun gave him a helping hoof and managed to dislodge the door, falling backwards with a grunt. Dark Star only quirked an eyebrow and glanced at Slipstream. "Sorry" the younger mare said without Dark Star even needing to say anything.
Inside the house wasn't much different. There were a few throw pillows and cushions thrown about, but it was still in one piece all in all. Sun leaned the door against the doorway and sighed. "Don't really know how you can get this fixed so soon" he said before the door was suddenly enveloped in a red aura. Dark Star levitated the door back into the place, repairing the hinges until a loud click was heard. Sun looked back and found a proud smirk across Dark Star's muzzle. "When you live with Slipstream long enough, you learn to adapt" she said before returning to the living room. "I'm just gonna take a quick shower" Slipstream said as she fluttered upstairs. Dark Star and Softspark were both busy using their magic to set everything back into place, Dark Star taking a seat back in the large recliner once again, letting out a contempt sigh as she lean back. "I guess we're back at square one, aren't we?" Sun rhetorically asked. Dark Star gave a quick nod and stretched her legs a bit, the feeling slowly returning before fading away as she relaxed.
