-Physical Stuff-
Pelt Color: a soft, soothing shade of delicate pink. Her wings are tipped with a lavender shade much pertaining to a stripe of her mane
Mane/Tail Color and Style: alternating stripes of pale gold, lavender, and rich pink. It is long and smooth with curls at the ends and sweeping side bangs. Her tail follows suit with a few large curls at the end. The entirety of both mane and tail have a sheen to them, as if they had never seen a speck of dirt.
Eye Color: a rich lavender, much matching her mane stripe. She has large and bright eyes, as well.
Cutie Mark: a blue crystal heart with golden tendril-like swirls coming off of each side. It shows how powerful the magic of love can be, and how trained she is in that magic mentioned before.
Other Scars/Markings: none, all the scratches she had from Queen Chrysalis are gone.
Physique: Cadance is tall and slender, taller than the average mare but smaller than the Alicorn Sisters. She has a long horn and large curving wings, along with a set of golden shoes and a crown/necklace set.
Alternate Appearances
Crystal Pony: when the Crystal Heart had been returned to its rightful place, all the residents of the Crystal Empire became crystallized. Cadance gained the translucent and crystalline texture of the daily resident, along with the hexagonal reflections on her eyes. Her mane was styled beautifully, also becoming even shinier and more pastel than usual. Her cutie mark also seemed to become brighter and stronger in color than usual.

-Personality Stuff-
Likes: Cadance very fondly likes to make other ponies happy. It is her talent, after all, to let love show between ponies. She finds great happiness in making others happy, and gets great reward out of happiness. That moment when two ponies finally realize their feelings for each other is better than any material gift to this loving princess, and nothing can mean more to her. Most of all, she loves to express the love she feels towards others through kind deeds and fairness for all.
This mare also loves to be in charge of herself. Yes, she can be a bit dramatic sometimes, but she prefers to be in charge of her duties. When she is responsible for her own actions, she feels it is much better than letting others do it for her. When she's in charge, she takes her responsibilities very seriously, not giving up on them at all.
Starswirl the Bearded and other historic events are also one of her likes. She enjoys reading up on historic events, finding out all she can about them. Hey, a princess has got to be well-educated on that! As seen when visiting her sister-in-law, Twilight, she knows a good deal of information about the fabled unicorn.
She also loves to sing, and is quite good at it. You can find her singing whenever she is bored, and she can also create her own little ditties fairly quickly. She created the "Sunshine, Sunshine" rhyme all on her own, teaching it to her favorite filly, Twilight. It's become a sort of hoof-shake for them.
Finally, Cadance loves fillies and colts. She used to foalsit, but her admiration for the little ones still stand. She never looks down on the little ones of the kingdom, rather, she loves seeing the whole kingdom participate in events.

Dislikes: Cadance does not have many dislikes, but what she does dislike is very obviously noticeable.
Cadance does not like having loved ones taken away from her. She is very protective of her family and friends, and will do many things—even in poor health—for those she cares about. Also, losing somepony close only shows her that she can't protect everypony forever.
As her special talent is bringing out the love in others, obviously she would hate to see ponies fight. It's a tough job to be a princess, but she still makes it a priority to keep the peace everywhere at all times. She prefers to see happy couples against enemies barely uttering a mutter to each other; especially when the love is true and pure. She hates seeing such utter hatred amongst ponies.
Lastly, Cadance doesn't like to be underestimated or treated like she's higher than others. As seen when she is introduced to others, she prefers to speak one-on-one with ponies or as the equals they are. She just doesn't like to be treated like she's on a different scale than others.

Motivation: Cadance wants to bring love and care to all who need it, and she wants peace more than anything. Such as this makes her a good ruler, as she settles things peacefully (unless terror is too high, then she goes all out and fights amazingly) and with love.
She also yearns to make good relationships with those she loves; it is her pride and joy to have ponies to back her up in times of need, and she does love to protect those she loves. Love is a strong motivation for her, and ponies to support her do motivate her more than anything.
Keeping control of her kingdom is a big motivation for her. If her kingdom fails, then she has failed. If she doesn't keep control on her kingdom, then she knows she has not done her job. It's very important for her to keep up with her kingdom, and it motivates to work her hardest with every action she may make.

Strengths: Cadance is very powerful in her magic of love. She can bring out love in any couple, if there is even the slightest attraction towards each other. She also knows her limits on when to use this power, and it makes the magic all the more special. Her kindness is poured into every ounce of magic of love, and she definitely enjoys the happiness others get out of her magic.
As through her years of foalsitting, Cadance is very caring and patient with ponies. Even when that pony is—er, not a pony—Discord, she gives them time to show their true directives and lets them go at their own pace. She's nurturing and loving, and could do well with a foal, but for now cares for everypony else with a strong passion. This princess prefers to be caring then to commanding, and to be a benevolent ruler. This mare is strong in passion and heart.
Aim and precision is another strength of this mare, she can make a bulls-eye when soaring through the air easy as pie! Even in a weakened state, she can be quite the...projectile, if need be. She is also a strong flyer with big amounts of strength—seriously, how heavy was that chariot of Discord's?—able to be siphoned off to be put to good use; and though she is strong, too much exertion will cause her to become weak.
Cadance can be a good matchmaker, being able to see couples even before they've become a couple! She believes in love at first sight, and sometimes she wants it to become true more than the ponies being called out themselves. She doesn't push the relationship, but does keep a watchful eye out for other signs of a good relationship coming out.
Finally, she is a smart pony. Sure, she doesn't spend all her time in the library, but she knows a great deal of history, including much on Starswirl the Bearded. Cadance is a lover of knowledge, and loves to spend lots of time chatting with Twilight about magic theory or historic events yet to be truly realized.

Weaknesses/Flaws: Cadance, when drained of her powers, can become quite weak. Though she still tries and act as usual with everypony, she does get quite weakened by this exertion. She becomes tired, making it harder for her to act as she normally would, and will faint if over-exertion is repeated.
She is also somewhat physically weak—in muscle, not magic—and cannot move large and heavy objects easily. Yes, being fatigued or emotionally damaged will also take a toll on her, but she is no Bulk Biceps.

Fears: After that scare with Chrysalis and the fright with Sombra, Cadance truly fears being overpowered again, have her kingdom taken over and destroyed. She often fears in the worst of times that something terrible will try and destroy her, although she takes her mind off the issue with love and care of her friends, family, and ponies living in the Crystal Kingdom. She doesn't want to let her ponies down, and she doesn't want to be beaten by evil.
She also fears that her powers might one day be too weak to protect the citizens of her kingdom, such as during a threatening time as with Sombra. Knowing her magic has limits, as with all magical beings, it gives her a perspective of how endangered her citizens can become. Luckily, she has Shining Armor with her to protect the kingdom.
As all ponies who have connections with others, this mare fears the loss of loved ones greatly. It would crush her heart to see her loved ones endangered, and she will go to all ends of Equestria to protect them, as she does with her kingdom. Cadance hates the feeling of losing someone she cares about, and the fear of that loss weighing upon her forever takes a toll on her when her mind idles on it.

Overall Persona: Of all the ponies who could have been chosen to rule the Crystal Empire, they couldn't have picked a better mare than Cadance. She is loyal, hardworking, smart, strong, and loving; the perfect combination for a ruler. Cadance is much more than just those, but she portrays those assets beautifully.
Her caring attitude towards others gives her an edge that many others lack; it also gives to her experiences other ponies could never truly cherish. She gives every pony—and draconequu!—a chance, and though that doesn't always work out for the best, it shows her and others that being caring towards others is better than rough force.
Becoming the ruler of the Crystal Empire was not an easy task; it took hard work and amazing valor to attain her place. Even an alicorn could not rule on her own—even Celestia was badly damaged by her sister's thousand-year absence—and she gratefully took her mate's help to rule the kingdom with great kindness.
Cadance's personality is in many ways like the Crystal Heart; she is clear and honest, strong and brilliant, and above all, she is unbreakable. Even when weak, she has others to help her and make her stronger. This shows how perfect her being a ruler is, but also how she is such a good friend to others.
This mare is very patient and loving with others, and is always up for a laugh. Though she is kind and benevolent, she is also mentally tough and hardworking, ready to take any problem hooves-on. Cadance is usually ready for anything, but can also think quickly on her hooves.
This mare prefers strength in words rather than strength in actions, and much prefers a good debate to a rough battle. Not to say that she can't handle herself in battles, it's just that she prefers it if things are kept safer and, well, cleaner.
Yes, she is just like all other ponies—weaknesses, flaws, and all—but she is also a wonderful and powerful mare still with potential to be unlocked. Cadance is most definitely a pony you can look up to.
