Overall Persona: Sweet Surprise is a perpetually innocent pony who always sees the good in everypony, even when presented with evidence that shows otherwise. This does mean that she’s sometimes in danger of being taken advantage of but her friends are always there to keep her out of too much trouble. She always has something new to aim for, and when an idea comes in to her head; it has to be done and done NOW (or at least started now). Sweets has a habit of eagerly starting one thing, then forgetting it to begin the next big idea. This means that it’s rare for her to actually finish anything that takes time and commitment.
She loves baking sweet things (though not as much as eating them) but is actually fairly terrible at it unless somepony is helping and making sure that the recipe is seen through to the end. Otherwise, those who know her know it’s best not to accept any offerings to taste the result. Her parents are of the opinion that her energetic personality is the result of all the sugar she consumes as, during times when she’s (begrudgingly) reduced her sugar intake she’s been far calmer and more composed.
Although Sweet Surprise hasn’t yet had a crush on anypony she knows in real life, she has had numerous crushes on celebrities, and, more often than not, she becomes a little bit obsessive. Her friends have speculated and joked that when she finds a pony closer to home he better watch out although she herself thinks it more likely that she’ll become uncharacteristically shy when that time comes.
She loves to dress up, and accessorise. She especially likes to wear gifts that her family and friends have given her – and especially if it’s something sparkly.
Academically, Sweets is a lot smarter than she first appears to be. Though rarely top of the class, she always did well at school. She does have a fairly good control over her magic but generally only uses it in daily tasks where it would otherwise be difficult. One day she hopes to become a motivational speaker.
