Finally got my pony written up! Hopefully I'll have a full-body picture of her, but that is her in my Avatar. I hope this is good!

She wears a black cloak with some silver and red thread work at the hemline (her cutie-mark of feathers).

-Personality Stuff-
Likes: Meeting new ponies and making new friends. She tries to keep in contact with those she has met over her course of travels across Equestria. She also likes animals, and taming the most wild ones if need be. She mostly keeps to herself, but loves companionship. She also likes to eat dandelion sandwiches and milk chocolate. Her favourite drink is chamomile tea. She also likes to admire craftsmanship – weapons, artwork, furniture, etc. Playing the flute on occasion to keep her calm is a favourite past time.
Dislikes: Doesn’t care for show offs, or ‘military’ ponies, nor particularly fond of Unicorns (because of her father), but she is not one to judge until she knows for sure what a pony’s personality is like. She also dislikes keeping her wings trapped under her cloak – but she has no choice since she keeps her weapon concealed as opposed to exposed to the general public. It also helps conceal her identity should she come across her father (who is also a traveller and a silversmith).
Motivation: The adventure and the feeling of being free to do as she pleases, the rise of the sun on the horizon keeping her optimistic about the future. Her pet, Black, inspiring her of the companionship she has made and that she is capable of making lasting relationships with other ponies. The fact that there is a possibility her mother is not dead, and finding her alive in the next city/town she visits keeps her going everyday.
Strengths: Her strength lies in her ability to take a situation and make the best of it and learn from it. She will come up with a solution to any pony’s problem, and will assist them to the best of her ability. She’s a helper and a listener – a very good listener, and keeps secrets to the best of her ability.
Weaknesses/Flaws: What Raven makes up for her in strengths, she lacks for in making friends and keeping social circles strong. She tries to keep in contact with ponies she has met on her continuing travels and adventures, but sometimes it’s hard when she’s mostly working on her own. She’s not perfect – far from it, she has other weaknesses and flaws that sometimes interfere with her day to day life (a work in progress as I continue to explore her character).
Fears: Raven fears isolation and seclusion for extended periods of time. Her companion, Black the Bombay Cat, keeps her from feeling lonely but she desperately seeks pony companionship. She travels a lot, keeping her on the move just like a bird or a feather in the wind.
She also fears her father – he is a very stern Unicorn and Raven prefers to avoid any contact with him at all costs. Because she is different from her father, being a Pegasi herself, he treats her as though she is not his daughter. Being the only daughter, having lost her mother when she was a young filly, he has kept tight control over her, having treated her more as a maid and servant as opposed to a daughter - thus, her need to travel and to be free.
She also fears storm clouds and icicles.
Overall Persona: Despite her past life with her father, she ignores the heartache and pushes herself forward to be a better pony and help out in the community in the best possible way. She looks on the positive side of things and keeps herself as optimistic as possible. She’s calm and collected and takes things in stride. Whatever life challenges her with; she will take her time in figuring out a solution to her problems. She’s a think before she acts type of pony. She is very cautious when she interacts with ponies, but once she gets to know them she is a loyal and true friend that can be trusted and always has their back. She will protect her friendships with all of her heart, and values them. If she has to go down in a fight, she will. She keeps secrets well, because she has so many of her own that she rarely shares. She is soft spoken, but not shy. She will speak her mind if she has to prove herself, but this is rarely the case. Her actions always speak for themselves. Being just her and her father with no other family that she knows of, she is constantly searching for a pony that will help her learn what a true family is really like.
History/Background: Raven grew up on the outskirts of the Everfree Forest, living with her father in a small cabin built by him. Her mother passed away when she was a young filly (or so, her father says), so she has no recollection of how she looked or what she was like except for a flute that is her keepsake and reminder of her mother. Her pet Bombay Cat, Black, was found orphaned and reminded of herself, she took her in and took care of her and raised her. She doubts her mother passed away, not believing a word her father has told her and as a personal quest, searches for her long lost mother in hope she will recognize her from the flute.
