Cutie Mark: A cup of mocha. It appear after his first successful attempt in making a mocha and serving it to a very satisfied customer.

Physique: Midnight's not too strong like some of the earth ponies, but he's not weak either. He can be consider a little above average since he does go jogging during the mornings, not to mention his job does require some manual heavy lifting from time to time. What? Just because he's a unicorn he's not suppose to know physical labor?? Midnight's not one of those unicorns who relies heavily on their magic.

Current Residence: Ponyville, almost near the outskirts.

Mother: His mother currently resides in Manehattan with his father.
Father: His father currently resides in Manehattan along with his mother.
Sibling(s): Midnight's the second oldest of the family. His older brother lives in Canterlot while his young sister lives in Manehattan.

Closest Friends: Unfortunately he left his close friends when he decided to move into Ponyville.
Courting/Courted By: No pony so far, maybe someday.
Mate: He's not rushing things, but when it happens, it happens. Just need to find that special someone first.

Motivation:
Was it because of the fresh scent of coffee beans? The laughter and friendly conversations occurring between ponies? The soothing environment some ponies look for to relax and work? Yeah, it was all of that and more. Midnight enjoys seeing the smiles on his customers' faces and he's always looking forward to create something entirely new to serve on his menu. However seeing the smiling faces of customers and creating his own perfect menu were only just parts of his motivation. There was something that takes majority of why he gets up every morning and even keep the cafe open pass midnight. His grandparents' retirement and his dream of making the Midnight Cafe into one of the top cafes in all of Equestria.

- Being surrounded by high-class ponies for too long could turn him into one of them.

Personality:
One of Midnight's most noticeable trait is about being able to remain calm and collective even during dire situations. Don't expect Midnight to run around and scream like other ponies should trouble comes looking for them. Now if a pony should ask another pony who have met Midnight, they would know that he always have this cheerful and friendly attitude. It's just rather hard for him to get mad and why waste energy frowning when you can be happy? With that said, it's a given that he enjoys meeting new ponies and having a good time. Confidence is key to many successes and confidence is what this unicorn has. Midnight never dwells on the past and when he does, he's usually thinking how to improve on something, or fix out some kinks he encounters. Being raised in Manehattan wasn't all that bad. It did taught him common courtesy and etiquette. Merge together with his cheerfulness and friendliness, and he becomes quite the gentlepony. Don't worry, he'll try his best not to embarrass ponies who happens to know other classy stallions and mares; even if they might be a little snobby. Showing a little kindness and politeness is never wrong.


History/Background:
Manehattan, the large city of high society, was where this unicorn was born. Born as a foal and raised up by high class parents, one pony would think he would turn out to be very well brought and turn into yet another high-end pony right? Boring! Sure he did grasp the common decency and etiquette to make him fit in, he didn't feel like he wasn't this piece meant to fit in with the rest of this puzzle. He felt out of place. He felt having such a classy life, where just about everything a pony would want would be handed to their hooves, was rather....boring. He needed something else and none of that fancy clothes everyday and fancy food. He needed excitement and he's definitely not talking about attending a elegant dinner or watching a opera. Ugh, talk bout trying to hard not to fall asleep and speaking all fancy like. He couldn't quite make any friends at first and eventually forced himself to try to be classy. It worked of course, but in the end of the day he was sad how he can't be himself. Having a older brother and young sister that didn't exactly understood him wasn't helping either. While the two of them merge themselves with their friends, Midnight was stuck receiving the short end of the stick. Many times he was laughed at in front of their friends while his brother and sister did nothing to stop them, his brother even started laughing too. "Why don't you just leave Manehattan?" His brother once said. That was probably the greatest thing that came out of his snobby brother's mouth. Unfortunately it wasn't all that simple. He couldn't just run away.

It wasn't until one day he discovered he had grandparents. Now why in Equestria would his parents not mention something as important as that?! Oh right, father and his dad didn't quite see eye to eye back then. His grandparents lived in Ponyville, which his father called a simple town. His father had high ambitions and wanted more than a simple life. After meeting his grandparents Midnight became interested in seeing Ponyville and what they did there. His father thought it's be a good idea at first to let him taste what he had to go through during his colthood, to see if it would change Midnight's way of thinking. However instead of changing his mind, it just made him even more curious and eventually developing a close bond with his grandfather and grandmother, not to mention Ponyville. His cutie mark even appeared in the town. Course his father was going to help him by building him his own cafe, but it had to be in Manehattan. He's going to take it right? Why of course not! He's going to continue his grandparent's cafe shop after they retire. No one in the family wanted to take over in their place, since his parents and his siblings thought it was too rundown, not to mention it was located in Ponyville. Why the thought of them moving from the posh town that is Manehattan, and into...Ponyville, they immediately shook away their heads to the other side without even giving it the slightest of concern. Yeah, lets all forget the all the memories their grandparents had inside the cafe. Midnight Mocha was not having this! He as going to continue on his beloved grandfather's shop. Despite his parent's disagreement and even said they will not support him, not even a single bit, if he choose this path. Without a second thought he moved out of Manehattan in high hopes to continue running the cafe. With some refurnishing here and there, the cafe most certainly did get back to its hooves. His grandfather helped out a little and even change the name of the place to the Midnight Cafe. Midnight has high dreams of one day spreading the cafe's name throughout all of Equestria and making this place the number one cafe. Currently Midnight resides in Ponyville running his own Cafe.

Hm, impressive, very impressive. This is easily one of the best and and most detailed apps I've seen in a while, however there are some issues.
Mainly they come into format. The personality section is meant for an overall explanation of how your character is and acts, but you seem to have simply listed more strengths of the character. If you want to indepthly explain character personality traits, you should do so in the relevant sections. Another thing is you have a highly detailed motivation section but you have run more into history with it, you only need to briefly summarize what you character wants to do. There's nothing entirely wrong with it, but its just a little mixed up, especially considering you repeat some of it within the history section.

Don;t get me wrong, its an amazing app, it made the admin go all woah when she saw it, but I think you may have gotten confused in some points. I advise you to move the personality points you have into the strengths section, and then write out however many paragraphs you want talking about your characters psyche and generally how they think and act. Once you've done that, then you're more than good to go with this incredible character ^^

Ok, I think that's everything. I kind of just took out majority of the personality parts and basically shorten it. I also moved some parts of the motivation section into the history.

Um, shortening it was not what I said, I said you needed to move what you had in the personality section and write a new paragraph consisting of your characters psyche and how they think. And yet you can edit the app once its accepted, but can you focus on getting it accepted first?

Oh I just didn't see that what I had in the personality section would fit into the strength section, so I kind of just deleted most of it and made the new paragraph in the personality section. Were you talking about the parts where I included things he might say with the personality? I'm probably just confusing myself here, sorry.
