Crystal Ramble nervously with her head low entered the hospital with the two ponies following her closely behind. Ram was anxious. Her legs were shaking and her mind was racing a million miles an hour. She expected her mom the moment they met us to tell her to straighten her back and sit her head high in the air like a stuck-up snob. That's the kind of pony she was. I hope she's changed.
Rambles approached the desk and spoke in a soft tone, "I'm here to visit my mother, Ruby Charmer. She's sick."
"Of course, dear. Do you know what room she's in? It saves me some trouble of searching," the pale pink pony said, her neon bun bopping as she spoke.
Rambles shook her head, "No sorry."
"No problem," the pony responded giving a comforting smile and typing something into a computer then reading what was on the screen. After a moment she spoke again, "Alrighty, hun, she's on floor 3, room 68. Dinner is served for them at 5:30 and if you're staying for a while we can give you something to eat. Do you want someone to take you ponies to the room?"
"No, we'll be fine," Crystal said as she began walking away towards the elevator. "Maybe mum has changed. Maybe she's less judgmental and snobbish. Or maybe not..." thought Rambles letting out a sigh as she pressed the elevator button to go up. "At least I have my friends to back me up."
The elevator doors slid open and Crystal and the other two ponies stepped in with her. It was nice to know that she had support. Giving a small smile she lifted her hoof and pressed the button for floor three feeling a bit more confident. She lifted her head slightly and waited until the elevator does popped open revealing the halls of floor 3. Ram stepped out and trotted down the hall to the door with the number 68 printed neatly on it.
"Okay," she said breathing deeply and pushing open the door.
