Mane/Tail Color and Style: Very straight, neat and well kept. Her mane is always pushed to one side down her neck, with a bouncy straight fringe cut just covering her eyes with her horn pointing through. Her tail is full and curved, just hovering above her back hooves at an angle. They're deep purple in colour, with magenta and violet streaks running down one side.
Eye Color: Dark violet
Cutie Mark: A pink 6-pointed star with 5 tiny white stars surrounding it.

Physique: Average and slender, although she has become slightly taller since her descent into princesshood, as well as beautifully sporting two magnificent medium-sized wings and her horn growing slightly longer.

Current Residence: Lived in Canterlot for most of her life before moving to Ponyville to study the magic of friendship. After the Golden Oak Library - her previous home - was destroyed, she now resides in a glorious castle to one side of the town where she carries out her duties as the Princess of Friendship.
Job: Formerly Princess Celestia's personal student/apprentice, and a great studier of magic, as well as a librarian and Equestria's protector. She's now a newly crowned princess, due to her amazing magical abilities, heroism, and full understanding of the magic of friendship.

-Personality Stuff-

Likes: Twilight's greatest passion ever since she was a young filly is and always has been books. Often it's hard to NOT find her muzzle-deep in some epic novel or studying just about everything one can imagine studying. So don't blame her if you witness her freaking out whenever she discovers a huge library full of books on just about every subject imaginable.
There is no doubt that her greatest joy comes from her beloved friends who are her greatest source of strength no matter what. She also loves organisation and when things are done properly and according to plan, cleanliness, helping her friends out whenever she can, assisting the princesses whenever it's been requested of her, tea, picnics, research papers, history and learning (and teaching others) more about it, adventure, stargazing and studying space, science, teaching, taking part in cultural events, and spending time with her friends and family.

As well as her love for studying, she also has an apt for science, and greatly enjoys working on experiments. She also seems to have an enjoyment for singing, as she does it quite often (even performing a song at her brother's wedding), as well as making public speeches. Problem solving is also something she has a knack for: whether it's solving personal problems for her friends or proving that she's right with logical and rational evidence. Whenever the situation calls for it, she will happily take charge and use her organisation skills to the best of her ability. Of course with her love of magic and learning more about it, she loves to use and study it as much as she can, and further advance her studies on friendship and princesshood. And from a love of learning comes a love of teaching, as Twilight loves to share her knowledge with others and teach them things they're interested in knowing. This also means that she loves to lecture others, and she also loves any opportunity to use (and show off) her many classic methods of studying.

Dislikes: Disharmony and disorganisation are two of her biggest dislikes. She hates anything being out of place or unaccounted for, and chaos itself goes against everything she stands for. She also really doesn't enjoy being wrong or being able to understand/explain something, being tardy with anything, being seen as a show-off, her spells failing, stress, parasprites, ponies pointing out the obvious, overreaction to things not worth overreacting over and anyone hurting, mistreating or upsetting her friends.

Twilight also really doesn't like it when she's not taken seriously, no matter how extreme and ridiculous the thing she's stressing over seems. She also doesn't enjoy it when her love of books and studying is made fun of, or when ponies turn down a good book - which makes sense coming from her passion for reading. She also doesn't like it when ponies don't know or understand things she believes to be common knowledge. There are also times she can get heavily anxious and stressed when she feels she's not prepared for something, or when something hasn't been planned out properly.

Motivation: To fully understand the magic of friendship, to pursue and improve her magic skills to the best of her ability, and now to be a great, wise and respected princess while still being the best friend she can be. She wants to play her part as Equestria's newest Princess and she wants to feel important and do everything she can, but she also still wants to feel like herself and never lose sight of everything that's important to her.

Strengths: Intelligent, factual, logical, and usually having an answer for everything; there is no doubt Twilight is a very clever, rational and well-read individual. She always tries to think with logic and reason as much as she possibly can, and it shows in her usually calm and collected demeanour. Considering her special talent is magic itself, she is very studious and dedicated to it, and this shows through her amazing knowledge of it and the impressive skills she possesses in her spells: even to the point of being able to conjure two at the same time. She is a very rational, mature and even-tempered pony, and tries to be as understanding as she possibly can be whenever she can.

She is a very good friend: always caring towards other ponies and sure to offer compliments where they're needed, and is always very modest and humble when complimented herself. She is very brave and loyal, and isn't afraid to stand up to anything or anyone who threatens who and what she cares about. She's also extremely empathic, and doesn't like it when others are treated unfairly when they haven't done anything wrong - yet she will trust her instincts to the very end if she suspects something's not quite right. She tries to have a solution to any problem, and will always handle them with facts and fairness. She has an extremely kind heart, great leadership and organisation skills, a quick wit and clever mind, loyalty, and a good sense of humour (even though she knows when to be serious and likes it when others are too). She is very focused, driven, wise, devoted, a quick learner, smart, kindhearted, compassionate, and overall a truly great leader.

Weaknesses/Flaws: Despite usually being calm and level-headed, there's no doubt Twilight can seriously stress over what seems to be the silliest things. And when she gets nervous, she gets nervous. She's also prone to impatience, anxiety, sarcasm, and scepticism when the situation calls for it, and can be very dismissive of things that aren't logical or scientifically possible to her, and she can get very easily frustrated when she's not listened to. She really doesn't do well under pressure either, and can crack very easily under the weight of it. She also worries very easily, and can get nervous in a second when something's bothering her - even to the point of insomnia. There is no such thing as "just a test" to her, and while she is very good at studying and is very intelligent, she strives too hard to be her best in fear of the princess (or anypony else for that matter) being disappointed in her. Whenever things don't go according to plan, she gets anxious and flustered very easily. Even when faced with apparent evidence she becomes very sceptical, as well as dryly sarcastic when the painfully obvious is pointed out to her. And when she's right, she can be quite bad for gloating, no matter how well-mannered she usually is.

While she loves organisation, there is no doubt she can go a bit overboard with it. She is a neat freak and a perfectionist to the extreme, and if one thing has been missed or skipped or looked over, she'll nearly have a nervous breakdown. Obsessive to the extreme with dates, deadlines, lists and preparations, she can often be a bit unbearable and hard to handle. Especially when she loses her temper.

Fears: Her greatest fear is failure, which is why she can get so stressed out when under pressure. Letting Celestia down and being dismissed as her student worries her to the core, and she can't bear the thought of letting her friends or family down and/or losing them, of course. She's also afraid of snakes, losing control of her magic, things not turning out the way they were originally supposed to, and harm befalling on Equestria and all she holds dear.

Overall Persona:




Once an asocial and study-obsessed pony who was far more focused on books than making friends, it's thanks to Princess Celestia and her trip to Ponyville that would ultimately lead her to open up and welcome friendship into her heart, and she's come to recognise it to be the most powerful magic there is. Still dedicated to her studies (and now her new title as Princess of course), she has become much friendlier and kinder thanks to the lessons her friends have taught her. She always strives to do the best job she possibly can, but is still a very modest and humble individual and doesn't like receiving too much praise when she feels it's not deserved. She is very appreciative and genuine, as well as extremely clever and well-read, and always tries to have an answer for everything and a solution for every problem. There's no doubt she's very sensitive when it comes to pressure and cracks underneath it and becomes stressed quite quickly. Usually she manages to keep her head and tries to keep herself calm, but sometimes her fears get the better of her and she ends up becoming too nervous - no matter how small and meaningless the thing she's nervous about seems.

Princess Celestia is her guidance and her greatest inspiration - well, her and the most important conjurer of the pre-classical era: Star Swirl the Bearded. She's a great lover of history, and pretty much anything that will further improve her study of the magic arts. Her magic is her greatest asset, and she knows (and is continuing to learn) a vast array of spells and conjurations. For the most part her magic is all self-taught, and she learns from studying through books and practise. While she loves spending time with her friends, she also enjoys having time to herself to study various subjects; practise and test out scientific experiments, or just settle down with a good book. She loves trying out new things she's never done before, and gets all her information from (you guessed it) books, and strives to do everything by them. Being the clever pony that she is, she can handle all kinds of tests and exams due to her extensive knowledge and great memory, but she'll still get anxious when she feels she's not prepared enough for it. But no matter what, she will always do her best and give it her absolute all. Even when things are at their most dire, she will try her hardest to remain positive due to her determined nature. She's also a good teacher, and absolutely loves sharing her knowledge with others.

Oftentimes she can be awkward due to her once asocial nature, and despite her amazing organisation skills she seems to lose or misplace her books very easily and can leave her library home in quite a state after going through and re-reading so many books. She's always sure to tidy up after herself due to her almost obsessive need for neatness. She has a very dry wit sometimes and can be very sarcastic and impatient, and can often take things too seriously or too far. Even when she's facing the toughest of challenges, she uses her amazing intelligence (with the help of her good memory) to figure out the most unlikely and obscure solutions, and always tries to give good advice - especially to younger ponies. She loves to teach and greatly enjoys teaching others and sharing her experience and wisdom. She understands the meaning of self-sacrifice and will always put the greater good before her own needs: especially when it comes to her friends and everything she holds dear. She is an honest, devoted, compassionate and focused individual who gives great advice and will always try to do what's right no matter what.

She's recently gone through a lot of great changes in her life: particularly her role as the newest Alicorn Princess of Equestria. At first she was unsure of this new responsibility and worried about what the future held for her, but thanks to the help of her friends, she's finally fitted comfortably within her role of spreading the magic of friendship and joy while ruling over her newfound Kingdom. She loves sharing the lessons she spent years reporting back to Princess Celestia to the citizens of Equestria, and continues to enjoy learning more of them herself with her friends always by her side. She understands the meaning of self-sacrifice and will always put the greater good before her own needs: especially when it comes to her friends and those she holds dear. She is an honest, devoted and focused individual who gives great advice and will always try to do what's right no matter what. She exerts great mounts of heroism and leadership and will do her best to be a great Princess, and of course a great friend.

After a hefty comparison of the two apps, my decision is that this app is a more concise well written piece that shows good understanding and a great dedication to the character.
