-General Stuff-
Name: Card Trick
Nickname: Card for short. One obnoxious aunt used to call him "Cardigan".

Gender: Male
Age: Stallion
Additional Status: Is wanted, under different names, in every Equestrian town except Ponyville and Canterlot.
-Physical Stuff-
Pelt Color: Brown
Mane/Tail Color and Style: Light Blue, cut short

Pony Code: 282S0000007F5A32FFC4A80000000BA44UN1837403200000D0A3FFFFFF7FFF0F107F3FCC004CB2
-Social Stuff-

Sibling(s): A unnamed younger brother who's got a succesful, high-profile job in Trottingham
Other Family: A couple of distant aunts and uncles
Closest Friends: None
Courting/Courted By: No-one
Mate: N/A
Foal(s): N/A
-Personality Stuff-
Likes: Knowing what he's doing, cheating, running, performing, cute critters like kittens (just don't tell anyone!), a good cuppa joe.
Dislikes: Getting caught, authority figures, not being "in the know", rats that eat his paper, being honest.
Motivation: To find some way out of Ponyville.
Strengths: He's a great actor, an adequate athlete, and a quick thinker. He may not show it, but he does have some morals. They're just buried deep down and don't classify swindling as a crime.
Weaknesses/Flaws: He's deeply cynical and complete pragmatist, he views "rules" as "recommendations" (or sometimes even "challenges"), and he's lazy.
Fears: Being trapped in Ponyville forever; flying and heights.
Overall Persona: Card Trick was born in Ponyville to loving (possibly too loving) parents. At a young age, he discovered that he had a natural talent for lying, or as he refers to it, "acting". Even as a schoolcolt he would trick other ponies out of their lunches.
When he was a teenager, he set out to find his own way in the world. He quickly decided that manual labor wasn't for him, but he lacked the discipline to study and become a great scholar. So he put his talents into swindling. For the next few years of his life, he spent most of his time traveling Equestria, cheating ponies through simple gimmicks (like Card Tricks) or even trying to pass off glass as diamond. He's wanted in just about every town in Equestria, although each wanted poster carries a different name. Over time, his skills at lying and getting out of town fast improved. Even to this day, he's a good runner.
However, he made an unbreakable mental rule to never directly hurt other ponies. He'll cheat, but he won't rob. He usually didn't stick around long enough to see how he indirectly hurt ponies, though.
However, the good times had to end eventually. One day, he got caught. He was pulling off a scheme in Canterlot when Princess Celestia herself brought him in. He was sent to Ponyville to "walk the straight and narrow". He opened a paper store, and his business is now legitimate, although he does sometimes give an unwitting customer paper that isn't quite up to standards.
Although he still dreams of returning to his life on the road, he has to admit that life in Ponyville isn't that bad. It's just barely possible that he might have actually turned over a new leaf. The Princess has given him the benefit of the doubt for the next few years, so we'll just have to wait and see . . .
