Dislikes: Dirt, hard work, dumb ponies, getting stuck in a dinky little town in nowhereville.
Motivation: To convince her father to move her back to Manehatten.
Strengths: Intelligent and thoughtful filly. Great buisness sense, and knows how to manipulate one into getting what she wants. Classy lady overall and knows it.
Weaknesses/Flaws: See's other ponies as nothing more than tools to be used. Doesn't care much to make friends or stoop down to their level. She is a hard person to get along with when she puts down the polite pony act. Will NOT do any dirty or hard work. Little patience with children.
Fears: Getting stuck in Ponyville forever or her brothers inheriting the company instead of her.
Overall Persona: Diamond Star was brought up in classy Manehatten where everything is a game to get social status. She held a great gift for this as well as a keen eye for the arts which they squandered their time upon to understand. She was brought up to be intelligent, charming, and to one day take over her fathers company. She lived with it all. Money, power, social influence, and even a couple girlfriends along the way which her father of course never heard about.
However, she grew to look upon other ponies with great disdain. Started to view them all as two-faced and shallow. She too became just like them, knowing she didn't want to get left behind in their game. She wanted to master it and then crush them all. Her father, noticed the change in her and sent her away to Ponyville. The hicks as she called it for her to learn some humility and see there are good ponies out there. Her father provided the home and allowance, but she had to provide for herself with it. She feels akward and out of place, and has a hard time understand some “peasant” concepts.
