Fantasy Flicker was generally a jolly pony, and this sunny Friday did not change that situation one bit! He was enjoying the pleasant weather, seemingly unaware and unaffected by the few odd misfortunes happening in the local area. The bees buzzing were (mostly) peaceful and the odd winds didn't catch Fantasy's attention. He skipped ahead without a care in the world, naturally, the misfortune would spread itself to him as well... his hoof snagging on a root on the ground! but he was experienced in dealing with dangers and adventures, therefore, without even quitting his skipping pace, he freed his hoof and continued onwards.
He was almost immune to all of the misfortune that planned to harm him, except for his natural attraction to all that is magical. He stopped his skipping as he closed in on the town square. He didn't even know why, but his head turned towards the direction of the library. Strange magic, contained to a pony it seemed. There was no mistaking it, his magic senses had picked up on something dark and unpleasant... Some unicorn with dark powers? It wouldn't be too much of a surprise, since a princess did reside in this town, and if there was anywhere where evil figures visited to start their ambitions, it was unprotected and important ole' ponyville. The center of 'friendship'. Which apparently was like, the most powerful magic or something. Fantasy might known had he perceived more examples of it, something he definitely wouldn't mind, because all magic was interesting magic in his book.
Like a dog sniffing down tracks, Fantasy followed his magical senses, His hooves hit the dirt with slight force as he let his excitement get the better of him as he rushed forward, energy throttling through his body and exuding with every movement, his steps leading him towards the library! It is there, that he would sense the magic more, although it seemed to be fading a bit. With a patience standing next to the library, he closed his eyes. Oh, no, it wasn't fading. Just his magic senses were decreasing. He felt the magical effects, and was now close enough to kind of analyse them. His meditation helped... He was feeling bold and adventurous. So he opened the door with Gusto! At least, he was feeling bod until he got a strong look from the librarian, raising an eye at his adventurous pose. A worried and apologetic expression came upon his face for a second, the corners of his mouth curling into an awkward smile before he moved on to the precise location he felt the magic.
A unicorn, Colourful to the eye and magical to boot, red magic lifting a book and reading it, Although the books' presence in itself made Fantasy's mane stand on end. An unpleasant feeling. continuing his boldness in a new, silent fashion, he went up to the unicorn. "Hello. Are you cursed?" he said, asking rather bluntly and directly.
