The occasional overcast cloud did not take away from the brilliance of the city of Canterlot. Birds chirped and flew about, ponies smiled and chattered on the streets. It wasn't a perfect spring morning, as it was chillier than desired, but the weather was nonetheless amicable and relaxing. Blue patches of sky combined with pure white clouds made for a sight for artists to behold and capture in their pieces. however, among the pleasant chatter and happy sunlight, there was a ruckus over by a spa. The yelling of an argument could be heard in practically half the street it was being held in. On one side, stood a Griffon, Somewhat taller than average stallion, pastel coloured hair, a proud deep red crest on a gray chest, puffed up in a show of assertiveness. His wings spread over his sides, as pegasi and griffonkind commonly did to make oneself larger and more intimidating. On the other side, stood a Slender unicorn mare, pelt as orange as the morning sun and mane of pastel magenta befitting of the kindest twilight skies. Her soft coral red eyes were currently expressing utter rage as she looked upon the griffon in heated debate.
The Griffon, Grantisimo the unfriendly Fashionista trying to turn a new leaf, was Seething. The Mare before him, stubbornly holding her argument of requiring a deep blue evening gown infuriating him more by the second. She obviously had no idea of fashion, Deep blue was -not- a spring colour, and ontop of that, was the most horrible mix with her natural colouration. It's like ponies just wear whatever they want without paying attention of the vivid colours they attain by nature. Your body is just as much a part of your fashion as your clothing! Grantisimo could not believe she did not even understand this. They stood just outside a beautiful spa with a very fresh ocean-like smell, where diligent workers inside looked on in worry. honestly, the workers wanted to scare the arguing two off, because tiffs like these were never good for business, especially near a place meant for relaxation. They had not the guts to confront a enraged Griffon and likely high-class unicorn though.
Although Fashion was the core of the issue at hand, those that were observing were hardly interested in the content. It was easy to pin the blame of this situation on the Griffon, and sadly enough, such would not be unjust. What the sneering crowd saw was another black spot on the already horribly tarnished name of griffonkind. A Griffon, giving a beautiful canterlot mare problems for 'no good reason'. It was another spectacle which would solidify the statement that the griffons belonged in griffonstone and should never leave their home, for they and their despicable attitudes had no place within pony society.
