Overall Persona: He's cold and logical, he tries to be nice to others, but his awkwardness gets in the way. He dislikes everything not natural, but he understands that not everyone agrees with him. His cutie Mark represents the simple life (the circle) and the equality of everything (the 4 equal pieces). He has deep psychological problems stemming from his abnormal childhood.
Life Story
He was raised by a group of Cynic Ponies in the middle of nowhere, if you can call it ‘raised’. He was never told who his parents were, and was raised by the community. They imposed their philosophy of rejecting the physical world on him, and trained him to live a pure and simple life while avoiding suffering by giving up earthly desires .
His training was harsh, he was left to survive outside by himself; he spent his time meditating and simply surviving; all the while he was forced to partake in self-flagellation as a meditative practice, leaving scars on his back. He was only allowed to come back when he could answer a riddle: “A flag is flapping in the wind, what is moving, the flag, or the wind?” Corinth pondered this for weeks, and he finally got an answer after blacking out during meditation, he awoke and made his way to the Cynics. He told them: ‘Neither, it is the mind that moves’. He was met with silence and accepted back into their society. Upon becoming a colt, he was ejected from the community as a form of trial to further his philosophical journey. He is supposed to return eventually, but they didn't tell him when, only that he 'would know when it was time'. He made his way around Equestria, sleeping outside and doing odd jobs (for free). Eventually he made his way to Ponyville, seeking to spread his cynic ways. He’s met many ponies during his journeys, and he’s come face to face with perfect families. In public, he doesn’t care, but when he’s all alone, he’s almost brought to tears thinking about the life he was burdened with. He continues his Cynic ways not because he likes them, but because they’re the only lifestyle he knows.
