Other Scars/Markings:

Closest Friends: Being fairly new to Ponyville, he has yet to meet anyone within town.
Courting/Courted By: Having not met anyone in Ponyville, Luhood have yet to find a mare who he could date.
Mate: No fillyfriend also means no mare to call his own.
Foal(s): And no mare means no foals to call his own either.
-Personality Stuff-
Likes: Most things natural and organic, though with a special fascination for fungi and mushroom of all kinds. He's also got somewhat of a sweet tooth, even attempting to grow sugarcanes, native to his homeland, in pots inside his home.
He is fond of the air, sometimes wishing to be able to fly like the pegasi of ponykind. Zebrakind doesn't have variations such as Pegasi or Unicorns, and as such they sometimes long for being different just like them. Luhood wants to see the air, and the top of the clouds, knowing it may only be a dream.
He prefers rainy days over the sunny days most ponies seem to enjoy, the rainy periods of his home village coming few and far apart, making the frequent rain of Equestria seem like a dream come true to him.
Dislikes: The only element of nature he doesn't like is water, and swamps in particular. Even though their vast variation of fungi and the like, he can't get over not knowing what else lurks in the murky waters around.
He also finds himself a bit scared of the famed Alicorn sisters, even though he doesn't say that out loud, but it clearly shows on him that he views the two deities with slight distrust.
Motivation: Wants to expand his knowledge about alchemy and botany, travelling the world as he chooses to do so. At the moment he hopes to settle down in Ponyville, the remote village on the eastern borders of Equestria seemingly perfect for his wandering spirit with all the strange lands surrounding it.
Strengths: A natural in the arts of alchemy from his homeland, he's got vast knowledge in both the flora and fauna of his homeland, and as of late of Equestria as well. Being the runt of the family makes him stand a lot shorter than the others of his tribe, as well as the others of the Ponyville ponies. His lack of physical strength has however driven him to expand his mental capacity, giving him a neverending thirst for knowledge and a greater than average intelligence due to hard training and studies.
Weaknesses/Flaws: As mentioned above, being the runt of the family has left him physically smaller and weaker than other zebras, and other ponies as well. However, this along with the constant mind excercises has made him somewhat of a book-worm, not a shy recluse but still a bit oblivious to the signals and such from others, which have so far only stalled him in his attempts to make friends.
Also, being new to the entirety of Equestria leaves him, for obvious reasons, far from fluent in the language they use in the country. Like his female countarpart Zecora, Luhood also speaks in rhymes since they're easier to understand and remember than the words of this strange language are on their own.
Fears: Other than the murky water of the many swamps around the world, many of them filled with poisonous and in other ways dangerous fauna, he also finds himself in awe and fear beneath the living embodyments of the Sun and the Moon, Celestia and Luna themselves. His tribe's primary belief was on the Sun and the Moon, and the many spirits beneath them, in big being an ancestral religion. However, at the pretence of being able to finally meet these deities they've worshipped for so long... well, let's just say he's got a love/hate relationship with the thought.
Overall Personality:
With a constant knowing smile on his small face, Luhood is the kind of character who you'd think know everything there is to know about you the moment he laid his eyes on you. However, due to his past not only is he probably a bit smaller than even most mares he meets, but the fact is that you probably find out more about him with your first view than him. He spends most of his life out in the forest, studying plants and nature to add to his grimoire of plantlife both big and small, bot magical and not, and the fauna in the same two categories. Also he's got his remedy book with recepies that should work for the patients as they did to him, new of which he tries on himself and on himself only as to not endanger the patients coming to him to be cared for and taken care of by giving them untested potions and brews.
History:
Born on the svannahs far to the south of Equestria, Luhood was born the firstborn child of the village chief. Being the firstborn meant a lot of pressure was put on the young child who was not only the smallest child to ever leap out of the elder heritage, but also the most cowardly. Not wanting to kill anything for the sake of killing it, but rather letting it live and sharing what it and you know about each other and everything else, was what actually got Luhood saved in the first place, from his tribal duties and from his duties to his father. Seeing him as an unworthy successor he instead focused on Luhood's younger brother, and as he got older Luhood saw his chance and ran away. This enabled him to follow up on his old hobbies, gardening and flora and fauna, gathering and sharing information about every living being in the universe for the sake of attempting to know everything about them, finding an utter fascination with the miracle that life is.
