As Crash Course stepped out of the train, she could feel the excited that hit her in the face. The cold air, the tall buildings, all the ponies that roamed around the streets, and her favorite thing in the world, the sweet smell of the rain. She loved the rain. She loved being cold rather than hot, and wet rather than dry.
As the yellow mare pulled out her small bag with her left wing, she looked around herself smiling happily. It was so beautiful outside. It started to overwhelm her a bit. That ended quickly though as her Rottweiler/German Shepard mix charged forward as a small cat hopped in front of him.
"Duck! Be quiet! Shoo kitty shoo!" Crash shouted trying to jerk back her dog away from the feline. Her right wing carried the leash for her dog, so it was easier to handle him sense she was a righty and not a lefty. As the cat finally ran off into a bush, Duck her dog finally shut his yap. Crash sighed at her dog then fixed her blue bandana to keep warm. The yellow mare started to walk where she thought the hotel seemed to be. As Duck ran side to side trying to see everything that was around him, Crash simply trotted slowly to admire her soundings. She was excited for next race, which was in course in Manehatten. She was here for a reason. She seemed also excited because she's never been to Manehatten before. All her friends have been here, so when she saw her tour map, she had started counting down the days to come to this great city.
Crashy then shook her head away from her thoughts and looked back up to where she was walking. The rain started to pour down a little more, so as she walked she quickly grabbed out her umbrella and opened it up so she wouldn't get too wet when she got to the hotel. Duck's fur was soaking wet by then, so she didn't want to take the time and dry him off. As she tied her umbrella to her back, she looked around for the hotel. But one thing she didn't know about, where was the hotel? The mare stopped for a second. Of course Duck reacted and started to choke himself on his leash, but that was what he usually did. Crash rolled her eyes at her dog then jerked her head around trying to look for the hotel. As the rain started crashing down to the ground harder then it did earlier, she started to squint her eyes around the area she was standing in to try and look for the hotel.
"Dumb hotel. How is it so hard to find one building?" Crash asked aloud trying see the things around her. Then it came to her head as she saw tons of other buildings around her.
"Oh," she said annoyingly still glaring at all the things around her. While standing in the middle of the sidewalk, the rain then started to become hail.
"Great, now how am I supposed to get to the hotel?" she said frowning down the street.
