"Sir is certainly very knowledgeable about dogs," Ice dipped his head, a small airy chuckle coming from him. "I try to be." It felt great to have someone say that. There were others that probably knew more than he, but he knew enough to help others. Riddle was kind, and it felt nice to be around her. But right now, he would try to remain on a customer - worker, instead of seeing if she could want to be friends. That might be weird, anyways.
"Ah... then I suppose I will make do with only those brief moments I might enjoy a dog, sir. Mine is not a life made for owning pets really, sir. My domicile is not large, and my schedule is quite restrictive. It is rare I have time to take myself for a walk, you see sir." Ice would give a small dip of his head, a way of acknowledgment. "That's a shame. Worth dreaming though, huh?" He'd offer a friendly smile. "Maybe one day you'll be able to get a dog. They are worth it." Maybe if she kept up with this business, she could have a store dog. Or if she ever got married, her partner might have a dog.
Riddle seemed finished with Phillip - who looked somewhat sad when she walked away - and went back to work. She collected the money, and he started to put the bought items into his bag. "Which is why I endeavor, sir, to have all manner of things available for all manner of ponies here in my bazaar." He nodded in agreement, looking about the shop. There sure was many things for a pony to choose from. "Thank you for doing business with me." Riddle bowed, and Ice copied her. "Have a nice day, miss." He'd call at to her as he left.
